Regency apartment with roof terrace, 5 mins walk from the station and less than 10 minutes stroll to the beach.
The apartment is on the top floor with amazing light and views all over Brighton and Hove. You can see the sea on the horizon, the South Downs (including Devils Dyke), and even as far as Worthing Pier.
The apartment is split level and well appointed, including a large kitchen (which opens onto the terrace), bathroom, hallway with skylight and cool lounge. The bedroom is a good size, nice and light with a very comfortable bed. Towels are provided as is wifi. I don't have an TV in the apartment - i doubt you have come here to veg in front of the telly but if you have i would suggest you bring your laptop/ipad etc.
Location Location Location - The flat is located in a conservation area in the the 7 Dials area of Brighton. This means less than 5 minutes walk from the station, the same to the Lanes and about 10 minutes to the beach. If you want to stay local there are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (there are details left in the apartment)
Just to confirm, this listing is to take the flat on a private basis. If you want to just book the bedroom and arent bother about sharing the flat with me, please visit my other listing to book: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/954806

A great flat only a ten minute walk from the station with excellent views. Nigel is clearly well travelled and has lots if interesting things in his flat which adds to the character! Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit Brighton.
Great location, situated minutes from the station - a quick bag drop and a short walk and you're on the sea front. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the views after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. After our night out, we slipped into a perfect nights sleep. Nigel knows Brighton, and by the looks of things, the world, and he's shared the best seaside spots in the guest manual and further afield destinations in his interesting collections of masks, art and furniture. A gem.
Nigel (email hidden) with lots of knowledge of Brighton and the surrounding area, the apartment was very clean and well presented. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely book with Nigel again :-). Thank you
Nigel's flat is absolutely brilliant. It's beautifully decorated, the bed in the cosy bedroom is super comfy, it's very close to the train station, the neighbourhood is quiet and leafy and there are great pubs/cafes close by before a short walk into town. We couldn't have asked for anything more and thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay.
Great, spacious flat, very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Brilliant location, so close to the station and the centre of Brighton, and a very friendly host.
How I loved Brighton and my stay at Nigel's apartment!! You've probably already seen the pictures of the apartment and thought "Wow, how nice!" Well, trust me. It's even nicer! And the rooftop terrace!? Amazing. It was so great to end your evening with a glass of wine enjoying the great view!
What's more is that the apartment couldn't be in a more central location, everything is in walking distance and the little cafés, bars and restaurants.. just so nice!
I'll definitely be back if Nigel will have me. And again in the summer, of course. Can't let the rooftop terrace go to waste, can I? ;)
Thanks again, Nigel!
I had a comfortable stay at Nigels apartment. It has a nice bedroom with a large bed, a lounge, a well equipped kitchen and a functional bathroom with tub and shower. The small balcony gives you a nice view over Brighton. The apartment lies not in the center of Brighton, but close to it with good bus connections one minute from the house (also the important nightbus to Kemp Town). Nigel was helpful with advice and recommendations and easy to approach in case of questions or problems. Well, Brighton has many seagulls and they are quite loud, for a peaceful sleep I recommend earplugs...
I do have to correct Andre's statement above where he mentions that the flat is not in the centre of Brighton. The flat is located directly in the centre of Brighton (it couldn't be more so). Its minutes from the station and North Laine, Hove and seafront are a 10minute stroll. Granted, if you want to be in Kemp Town for most of your time you might want to cab it or stay more in that area for convenience.
Agree about the seagulls though, they can be noisy this time of year - welcome to the seaside ;0)
We were welcomed by Nigel, at the time agreed, and almost felt like friends. A very warm and friendly guy.
Apartment was exactly as expected - great, with a little more exciting decor/artefacts to enjoy.
Would and have recommended to friends.
Nigel's place is utterly gorgeous, its a great location, comfortable and lovely to hang out in (if, like us, you have to do some work as well!) Really recommend to anyone looking (email hidden) to stay for a few days.
Lovely place, well positioned, cool pub 'the cow' just round the corner. Overall suited us perfectly.
