mountains to enjoy. Truly a "log cabin," find yourself renewed in the fresh mountain air by relaxing on the L-shaped deck as you enjoy recalling the day's adventures while waiting for your steaks to cook on the gas grill. As night falls,
everyone will want to make their way down to the lower viewing deck giving you the perfect place to enjoy the serenity of the mountains or visit around the outdoor fire pit for an evening under the stars. Spring, summer, fall, or winter, this truly is a place for all seasons.
Inside the entire family will enjoy this home’s open great room with beautiful stone wood fireplace. The large windows with cathedral ceiling in this space make for a warm and cozy atmosphere, whether you are in the open kitchen with its stainless-steel appliances or enjoying a family dinner around the ample dining table or curled up on that comfy leather sofa in front of a roaring fire. Lounge your evening away in the adjacent den with its overstuffed couches and chairs and flat screen TV that plays movies, the perfect place to read a book on a rainy day. This beautiful home comes equipped with central heat and A/C, high speed Spectrum internet, Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in each bedroom with streaming cable, wood fireplace, and gas grill.

The approach to this property is steep on a fully paved road. All-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive would be required to access this home during snow or ice events. Snow tires and chains as well would be required in winter driving conditions. **Of note, Fie Top Road is one of the best maintained roads in
the county during winter driving events in order to allow skiers access to the ski area at top of the mountain.**
There is so much to do around this vacation home all year-round. Harmony on Honeymoon Lane is located minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway making it a perfect location for exploring the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy a day of shopping at the local boutiques and craft shops or dining at the local cuisine in historic downtown Waynesville less than 15 minutes away. The museum of the Cherokee Indian is about 30 minutes away. While in Cherokee try your hand at Harrah’s Casino. Also located within a 15-minute drive are local micro-breweries, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tube World
(snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle museum, as featured on History Channel ;American Pickers), Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart, and many great restaurants.
Within 30 minutes are Asheville and the Biltmore Estates; Winery, Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express;" during the Christmas Holiday),
Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Within 45 minutes is Hendersonville where you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with enormous dining Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more.
Just about an hour’s drive away you can get to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home
of Dollywood).

There is one closet in the home that is locked as it is used by the owners for storage.
Other things to note
There is an electronic key box on the front door. For your own security, the code is deactivated as soon as you check out. The door locks automatically when you close it. Please make sure to pull it all the way shut, it does make a loud beeping sound if you don’t close it completely. It will jam if not pulled all the way, especially when it’s really cold outside! Please do not lock the door handles. Your door code will be sent to you at least 24 hours before you arrive.
Please only park in the driveway directly in front of the cabin, there is ample parking for at least 3 vehicles.
Bar soap and a roll of toilet paper will be in each bathroom. The kitchen starter
pack contains dish soap in dispenser on sink, a dishcloth, two dishwasher tabs, a roll of paper towels, and garbage bags. Linens are provided for the three king beds, and single pullout. Each bathroom has a minimum of one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest. There is a washer and dryer on the primary floor that can be used with the detergent you bring. There MAY be sealed items in the pantry along with very basic spices. There is a drip coffee maker (reusable filter). The kitchen also has a small airfryer in the pantry and everything you need to cook your meals. There is plenty of silverware and dinnerware for your group of up to seven. The ice maker does not work but there are ice trays in the freezer. Yes, there is a wine opener and glasses.
We recommend you get most of your groceries before climbing the mountain.
This home has a maximum occupancy of 7 per our liability insurance. This includes all people (friends, vendors, visitors, etc) at all hours - including gatherings during the day. We do not allow gatherings of any kind that exceed our max occupancy.
