This is a beautiful house for a weekend away in Jindabyne. Very close to the stores and local attractions with stunning views of the lake! Peter and Joan’s hospitality is second to none. We would definitely revisit!

Hello Yang, Thank you for such an honest.. although misguided review. I would like to point out first and foremost, your check in performance at our office was witnessed by other guests. A number were from overseas. They commented on your aggressive attitude to our questions. It is worth noting the other guests were quite willing to follow our check in paperwork with no arguments. They presented correct drivers licences and credit cards for security paperwork which was outlined in the confirmation email sent on booking. They received their property keys and departed for their holiday with little fuss. This is what happens for our 3000 plus guests during a year. You attempted to circumvent this with evasive answers and suspicious intentions. You now wish to cloak your actions in a cry "DISCRIMINATED" and "PREJUDICE" because we maintained our standard operating procedures and would not allow your attempt to evade them. For what intention, we had no idea, so we delved deeper before handing out a key to a $1 million dollar property. This we make no apologies for as I am sure you would agree if you were the owner. Other guests present even pointed out that our manager handled the situation with professionalism and a calm manner. They also commented on the rude middle finger gesture your partner gave to our office manager in front our reservationist, who has a disability. Clearly by your actions you were upset you could not get your own way and to those present you and your partner threw an infantile tantrum. I also reject your claim your friend who returned the keys was held until the cleaner checked the property. Your associate and his friend (Nelson?) were very friendly and we chatted about your attitude and the fact your partner made the rude gesture to our staff. At no time was he detained while we checked the property. Again, an ill informed comment to cover your actions, as you were not present at check out. As confirmation, should you care to look at our 200+ reviews on AirBnB you will not see any that mention this occurs?? Something I am sure another guest would make mention of if it actually happened. We thank you your review mentioned that the place was OK and was clean. We will pass this compliment to our housekeeping staff. We also made mention you left the property clean in our star review. We wish you well in your travels and can we suggest that in future when you do not get your own way, you behave with a little more civility and you will receive civility in return. Regards Peter

Excellent location with amazing views and the local brewery across the road. Checkin was straight forward, the house had everything we needed and more. Would come back again.

Amazing views - simply serene! The location is perfect and apartment is very cozy and spacious- definitely suitable for large groups of friends and families. Peter was super helpful and welcoming - did not have any issues whatsoever. Thanks!

This placed managed by Peter was great ! Very clean and tidy as expected and the kitchen was very well equipped. Love the view of the lake from balcony. Would definitely rent it again if visiting Jindabyne and surroundings.
