The space

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom fully private ground floor apartment, located on the Swan river in Perth, Western Australia. It is fully furnished and fully equipped with a large open plan living area and wonderful views of the Swan River. The apartment has a lockup garage with automatic door and two large courtyards, excellent for entertaining or just enjoying Perth's beautiful weather. Step outside your front door and the area offers tranquil parks, and many walkways winding along the swan river, making it ideal for both walking and cycling alike. If a dip in the sparkling ocean is preferred it is only a short 15 minute stroll or 5 minute car ride. Ten minutes away by car is The Port of Fremantle offering an abundance of cafes, restaurants, cinemas, street theatre and also has a rich history. Mosman Park is an established quiet residential area, it has two supermarkets, many cafes other speciality shops and a golf course. It adjoins Fremantle, Cottesloe and Peppermint Grove all with excellent retailers and restaurants.

It is a beautiful walk along the Swan River on a tree lined path to the nearest train station.

John and Kath are wonderful hosts and we felt very welcome staying at their apartment. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, well decorated and provided with everything you may need in a holiday accommodation. It is in a fantastic location to explore the area, with shops, cafes and restaurants easily accessible by car or bike. We enjoyed taking walks or riding along the paths on the riverside to nearby parks or beaches. Fremantle or Claremont are only 10 minutes drive in either direction

For all the compliments that John & Kathy received whether it's for their hospitality, location, amenities, value or even the feeling of returning to this place - I now have the pleasure of saying it's all true. From the point of booking confirmation to our farewell, John & Kathy have been incredibly friendly and responsive. We were pleasantly surprised when they went out of their way to offer baby equipments during our stay which saved us quite a bit from separately renting. The place itself is comfortable, spacious, very well designed and it's situated in a lovely location that is great for morning and evening walks (especially along the river). It's our first time using Airbnb and it's simply because of John & Kathy why our first Airbnb experience is such a memorable one. And yes, we would certainly choose this place when we visit Perth again. Thanks again John & Kathy for making our stay a delightful one. Keep up the great atmosphere!

John and Kathy could not have been more hospitable hosts. They were always quick to reply and very accomodating with check-in/out times and provided us with wet weather gear after unpredicted stormy weather. The property is even better than the photos show. It is spacious, immaculately clean and has everything you could need or want including kitchen appliances/utensils. The beds were very comfortable. It is very private and quiet and has a lovely outdoor area. Fremantle, Cottesloe and Scarborough were all within easy Uber distances. I would definitely recommend others to stay here - it really was a home away from home.

John & Kathy were excellent hosts who were very responsive and made us feel very welcome. They have a beautiful home which was very well designed, clean, airy & spacious. It sits on a slope on a hill in a nice residential area. I highly recommend John & Kathy's home & will definitely return when I next come to Perth.

John and Kathy were exceptional hosts to our family of four. Firstly they were very accommodating in allowing us to check in after midnight due to our flight. Moving on to the property and it's location, it is a beautiful waterfront home and we occupied the ground floor which is a self contained 2br 2 bathroom space with views out to the Swan River. In fact it was so comfortable my wife found it hard to leave! Location we found really suited us as we enjoyed spending time in Fremantle which was a short drive and also Cottesloe had a great number of trendy cafes and fresh produce shops where we would stock up on supplies. We stayed 5 nights and would come back in a heartbeat.
