Located in Candler Park, considered by many to be one of the best neighborhoods in Atlanta! Two parks located a block away, with a bike path that extends all throughout the city. Three short blocks to Marta Station (the train that goes direct to and from the airport, downtown, etc.). Easy walking access to numerous restaurants, bars, gas station, liquor store and small and adorable local grocery store. Walking distance to Little Five Points, Atlanta's bohemian community known for independent theatre, fresh musicians in the best music venues and a fantastic array of boutiques and vintage stores! Somewhat unexpected and always memorable, it's a favorite of locals and visitors alike!
ALWAYS CLEAN, whether you book last minute or not. It's just the way I live! I have one sweet and friendly cat, that is outside half the time, so my apartment does not smell like a cat or a litter box!
Free highspeed wireless internet. There is not a TV in the room, but if you have a laptop I can give you the password to my Hulu account, which has countless television shows and some movies to watch online. The bed has a comfortable mattress with a down blanket. There is a laundry room in the complex with washers and dryers for $1.25 each, per load.
I love accommodating travelers of all sorts, probably because I love to travel myself and appreciate staying in interesting and welcoming places. Just let me know if there's any way I can make your stay and trip to Atlanta more pleasant! If there's anything specific you like for your coffee just let me know and I'll have it for you. Oh, and don't be surprised if you randomly find yourself hanging out with myself, and a friend or neighbor, having a blast!
Crystal was a great host! I felt right at home. I am new to Atlanta, and she gave me great information about the different areas of the city. The room is super clean and and quiet. I was able to cook breakfast every morning--a huge plus for me.
The cat really is cool. Even a non-cat person would think so.
I'm really glad I booked with Crystal and would totally stay with her again!
I stayed at Crstal's apartment for few weeks and had a very pleasent experience. The apartment is nice, clean and cozy. Great location, close to all cool stuff. Crystal is easy going, fun and friendly. She has a cute cat. Highly recommended for short-term and long-term stay.
Crystal is a friendly, nice and helpful host. The room is cozy and clean. The apartment is comfortable and close to Little Five Points. I had a nice stay thanks to Crystal and her cat Kyra!
Crystal was a great host and the room is cozy and nicely decorated. I will definitely comeback and stay if i happen to come to atlanta again which is more likely as i keep coming. :) Good luck Crystal!!
Great stay. Thanks again, Crystal!
Crystal was a wonderful and accommodating host.
Crystal was a great host! The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. Transportation was really easy as MARTA station was only few blocks away. Overall great experience!
this was my first experience with airbnb and Crystal made it seem like we were old friends. Location was great and room and amenities were exactly as described. Sorry I missed the chance to hang out with her and her friends, but I was working until 5 am both days. Laid back atmosphere and very friendly. Highly recommended.
Comfy bed, nice bedroom and apartment, and a cool location! I used to live in Atlanta and I visit back frequently, but usually I stay in Midtown. This was my first time staying somewhere on the east side and it proved to be a pretty cool and convenient option. The Candler Park MARTA station is a ten minute walk away, providing convenient access to the apartment from the airport, and making Midtown and Downtown easy to get to (in my experience bus #2 can be more direct to Midtown from this part of town, and that's very close too). Super cool downtown Decatur is also only a few stops east on the train, making it a 15 or 20 minute trip from the apartment. In addition to Little Five Points being close by (10 minute walk), a lot of other neat neighborhoods are not much further than that (Inman Park and Poncey Highland are only 10 or 15 minutes further from L5P by foot, I walked to Fritti to meet friends for dinner with no problem). Definitely a good option for anyone looking to hang around some of Atlanta's more vibrant neighborhoods and get around without a car. AND you're a ten minute walk away from my favorite bar in the whole world (the best beer bar in the universe), the Porter Beer Bar.
Crystal's place is very cozy and sweet! It was easy to stay there and was a nice walk to little five points. Loved the kitty too :)
