Located in Candler Park, considered by many to be one of the best neighborhoods in Atlanta! Two parks located a block away, with a bike path that extends all throughout the city. Three short blocks to Marta Station (the train that goes direct to and from the airport, downtown, etc.). Easy walking access to numerous restaurants, bars, gas station, liquor store and small and adorable local grocery store. Walking distance to Little Five Points, Atlanta's bohemian community known for independent theatre, fresh musicians in the best music venues and a fantastic array of boutiques and vintage stores! Somewhat unexpected and always memorable, it's a favorite of locals and visitors alike!
ALWAYS CLEAN, whether you book last minute or not. It's just the way I live! I have one sweet and friendly cat, that is outside half the time, so my apartment does not smell like a cat or a litter box!
Free highspeed wireless internet. There is not a TV in the room, but if you have a laptop I can give you the password to my Hulu account, which has countless television shows and some movies to watch online. The bed has a comfortable mattress with a down blanket. There is a laundry room in the complex with washers and dryers for $1.25 each, per load.
I love accommodating travelers of all sorts, probably because I love to travel myself and appreciate staying in interesting and welcoming places. Just let me know if there's any way I can make your stay and trip to Atlanta more pleasant! If there's anything specific you like for your coffee just let me know and I'll have it for you. Oh, and don't be surprised if you randomly find yourself hanging out with myself, and a friend or neighbor, having a blast!
No smoking inside. No pets allowed.
Crystal's room is roomy and comfortable, with a desk to work at and enough space on the floor to do a workout! The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and I really enjoyed staying with her. Plus she has a very friendly cat.
Crystal was awesome. My flight to Atlanta arrived late and I didn't get to Crystal's place until almost midnight. When I got off Marta I took a wrong turn and got lost. Crystal came and picked me up despite having a nasty cold. Would definitely recommend. Place is in Candler Park near Little Five Points. Close to Marta with decent places to eat and lots of 1920s craftsman style homes.
I had a great stay here! I was in Atlanta without a car, but the place was located close enough to public transit that it wasn't hard for me to get where I wanted to go - most of the bus stops I needed and the MARTA rail station were within a 15 minute walk. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I could need. I only saw Crystal briefly but she was a very accommodating host and when she wasn't home, she got back to me quickly whenever I texted her with a question. And her cat is adorable and very friendly!
My experience staying with Crystal was my first with Airbnb. I hope my future experiences will be this pleasant. Crystal is a welcoming host who keeps a tidy apartment, with a nice private bedroom, in a very convenient in-town Atlanta neighborhood. The neighborhood is very walkable; you can even walk to Little Five Points in ten minutes. Buckhead and Mid-town are just a short drive away. And if you like cats, you're in for a treat. Kira, Crystal's cat, is very sweet and affectionate. Nice hot shower too!
It was great house that I have ever been! The house was so clean and Crystal was so nice and helpful! And lovely cat either!
Within 10~15minutes, you can take subway or bus, go to supermarkets and restarants! It has perfect location
I recommend here if you are looking for place to stay in Atlanta
Crystal was a wonderful host. She was working when I arrived but left the key for me to let myself in. Her house looks just like the photos and the description is spot on. The room is very comfortable with lots of blankets. I was worried about the cat because I'm a little bit allergic, but my allergies didn't act up and I think it's because the house was so clean. Crystal left coffee items out and even provided some milk and creamer. The upstairs neighbors were a little bit loud (heavy walkers) but that wasn't a big deal at all. The stay was very comfortable, safe and in a close location to Emory which is what I needed.
Crystal was great! She was not there for my stay, but still anticipated and provided all my needs throughout, despite being gone. I was definitely impressed. The neighborhood is also one of my favorite in Atlanta, so I was excited to stay there. Great experience, overall.
I grew up in West Los Angeles, but have lived in Atlanta for the last 4 years, and I love it here! I think you'll find your visit very pleasant!
