Renovated in 2012, this modern home occupies the entire 2nd floor of a historic "Charleston Single" home that was constructed in 1905. The home features 2 private bedrooms, 1 king sized bed and 1 queen sized bed, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower complete with a in ceiling rain-head. The home is ideal for two couples, or a couple with children.

An open floor plan with original heart pine floors features a great room with kitchen and family room adjoined. Windows aplenty, the home has ample natural light. The kitchen boasts a large granite island and stainless steel appliances.

Enjoy the private courtyard and veranda for beautiful sunsets, warm temperatures, and cocktails. The courtyard has a gas grill. The home has a private drive and parking lot for off-street parking.

The home is located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, just 1 block from Marion Square. You are a 5-minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Upper King Street, including such well known restaurants as Fish, Hall's Chophouse, and The Ordinary. You are just a 7-minute walk to Lower King Street shopping and Charleston's antique district. "The Market" is a mere 10-minute walk. The home is just 2 blocks from East Bay Street for a run/walk across the Cooper River Bridge.

Within a five to 15- minute drive are hiking, kayaking, white sandy ocean beaches, horseback riding, and yacht harbors. The area is renowned for its many fine golf courses. In the event of any health needs, MUSC and Roper Hospital are 6 blocks away. The home is 15-minutes from Charleston International Airport. A private taxi to our door costs approximately $25, or airport shuttles will also give door-to-door service for $13 per person.

  • Our stay at 1 Henrietta was wonderful! The location was perfect, a short walk to all the sights, but private enough to feel like you were enjoying Charleston as a local. The unit was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We appreciated the cleanliness and the fact that Adam sent us all the necessary information days in advance.

  • We enjoyed staying at Adam's home. It is perfect for 2 couples! Great location, very close (walking distance) to restaurants and shopping. On Saturday mornings, there is a farmer's market just a block away in Marion Square. The parking is right next to the home so no worries if you are driving or renting a car. The area feels safe and residential. There is a gas station right around the corner for convenience store items and a grocery store fairly close as well. If you want to go to Fort Sumter, the dock where you catch the ferry is only about 2.5 blocks away, a very easy walk. We walked to dinner each night then took the bike taxis back home. Each bike taxi costs about $10 from downtown to the condo (2 people). Very reasonable and gives you a different view of the city. Other nice things that are close are the the Charleston Public Library, the Museum of Charleston, and Upper King Street. The home itself is perfect for a long weekend. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need for breakfast and snacks between dining experiences. Large screen TV with cable was great for watching a few football games on Saturday morning. We didn't have a chance to use the patio area but it looked very nice as well. Highly recommend!

  • This great apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood. It's close to Upper King, with all the cool, new restaurants and bars, and it's right around the corner from the farmers' market. And it's an easy walk to the historic district.

    The apartment is in an old, charming building and has beautiful floors and an updated, stylish kitchen and bathroom. The beds are comfortable and large. There's a huge living area that combines with the kitchen.

    Worth mentioning is that this (email hidden)d-in apartment, not one just meant for rentals only, but there is plenty of space, and it is very, very clean and neat. There is plenty of free parking in a lot on-site.

  • Perfect location for a weekend in Charleston. It came with two parking spaces! The second floor apartment was clean, spacious and just right for our group of four. Lovely modern kitchen and bathroom. Beds were so comfortable! Great value.

  • We had a great time during our stay at the apartment. The apartment is nice, as shown by the pictures, and the location is great if you want to walk downtown. Adam was responsive, helpful and overall a great host. I would definitely stay here again during a return trip to Charleston.

  • Great place to stay. Very nice apartment in a fantastic location. Easy walk to king street and marion square. Great central location in a modern apartment. Had a lovely experience. Only thing lacking was non-HD tv for viewing football but other than that it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend
