With it's own separate courtyard entrance, this charming apartment easily sleeps four. The great spaces with lots of sunlight and central location make this the perfect base for your visit to Baltimore.
It has a large living room with dining area, two bedrooms, nice sized kitchen and bath. Comfortably furnished, it has everything you’ll need, including a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, hair dryer and ironing board. All utilities included. Free on-street parking right in front of apartment.
The living room includes private secure hi-speed cable WiFi service, an HD-TV with Roku & Netflicks, DVD/VCR, and stereo with CD & cassette players. The shared courtyard space has a barbeque, tables and chairs. Plus a fountain that makes lovely sounds.
Interaction with Guests
We live in the main house, so we are around if you need us. You may see us as we come and go. Please ask if you need anything, as we love to share tips and info on our city. We have lived in this house since 1988.
Our tree-lined neighborhood of 19th century Victorian rowhouses, also hosts one of Baltimore's best restaurants, B Bistro, which is right across the street. Plus, there are 2 coffee houses within a block and a half, plus other stores.
The light rail, the Metro, the free Circulator Bus and the main train station are all within a 5-10 minute walk.
Bordering the Mt. Vernon Cultural & Station North Arts Districts, the apartment is within easy walking distance of the Maryland Institute College of Art, the Lyric Opera House and the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, as well as many restaurants, cafes and bars.

We have a second 2-bedroom apartment for rent right down the block - it's the whole 3rd floor of a rowhouse. Please consider our other Third Floor apartment if this Carriage House one is already booked for your dates. Or, consider booking both apartments if your party needs additional bedrooms. There's only a 2 minute walk between them.
For the sake of all residents and guests, please do not smoke in the apartment or in the courtyard, as the smoke will chimney right into the main building.
Pets are not allowed In respect to quests with allergies.
The red bedroom has a double bed, while the blue bedroom can be made as either one king-sized bed or 2 twin beds. Please let us know how you would like us to set-up the blue bedroom for you.
Arrival & Departure
Your Check-in time is scheduled by appointment, so please let us when you would like to check-in. If you think you are going to be more than ten minutes late, please call and let us know.
When you are close, just give us a call and we will meet you at the front door of 1533 Bolton St. The best number is our home phone, (phone number hidden). Alternatively, use Susan's cell number, (phone number hidden), or Peter's (phone number hidden).
Check-out is by 11 AM on your day of departure. If you need to check-out at another time, please let us know in advance, so that we can make arrangements if possible.
We live on site if you need us. We share the courtyard, so you may see us coming and going.

About the Host, Susan & Peter
Susan & I are eating lobsters at Gertrude's at the BMA for our anniversary. We love to travel, especially to Italy. We have 3 grandkids, but they live in Brooklyn and England. The carriage house is full of lots of cool toys for them. Our company, TerraLogos Energy Group, is an energy improvement contractor. We help home and building owners improve the energy efficiency of their properties. We work hard to promote change that will lead us to a sustainable future. Our carriage house is energy efficient, as well as a really cool place to be.
