If you come from Kyoto station, find D2 bus stop in front of the Kyoto station bus terminal (right out side of central gate), and get on a bus No 206. After about 15min bus ride, get off at Umamachi bus stop and walk 300m up slope to the east from the Umamachi junction.

About the Host, Soi
We are Sim and Maki, Singapore & Japanese couple who used to run hostel for many years in China. The hostel called "Sim's Cozy Garden Hostel" and loved by many travellers.
Now we settled a guesthouse in Kyoto, running this place with another married couple Suzuki from Tokyo and Koori from China. We all love travelling and experienced being on the road or living in foreign country, so we are happy with helping travellers and hoping our guest have a good time in Kyoto.
Also, we have two daughters (7 and 10) who speak Japanese, Chinese and some English. They are such a welcoming host.
