  • I stayed in Tyler's apartment for about three months and it felt like my second home during my stay. Couldn't have asked for more. Tyler is a very communicative and considerate person and he is easy to get along with. The room is in one end of the apartment, which has a classic railroad layout (that means you get to use the hallway during night-time to reach the rest of the apartment which worked just fine for me). This layout also means you get a lot of privacy if you are up to that and the room has three nice windows and lots of light. The neighborhood is nice. Calm and lively at the same time and you are conveniently located to the F and G train. The apartment is as described and I would highly recommend this place. Thanks, Tyler!

I unfortunately had to cancel Krista's reservation because my landlord
communicated that he is not currently comfortable with me hosting short
term guests. If he changes his mind I will make the room available again
    for short term.

    Response from Tyler:

"I unfortunately had to cancel Jackie's reservation because I overestimated
the number of guests that could realistically stay in my apartment. Jackie
is the artistic director of a really cool opera and and I very much wanted
to accommodate her and her cast. I have now changed the maximum number of
guests and am certain this situation will not happen again."

En espérant pouvoir rapidement repartir à new York ...

  • Tyler was a fantastic host with a convenient apartment located a very short walk away from the metro station and close to cafes and restaurants. My partner is a pianist and Tyler very graciously allowed him to practice on his piano whenever he pleased. It was a very clean and comfortable apartment, and a large room for what you can get in NYC. Tyler was easy to deal with, flexible with check-in and check-out times and helped us in every way possible. A++

  • I live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with my wife and newborn. My mom was visiting for a week and needed a place to stay. Tyler graciously hosted my mom. She was very happy with the experience and glad to have a clean, quiet place to stay with easy access to the subway. Tyler's place down the block from a couple of cafes and restaurants and a few blocks away from 7th Avenue which has a ton of restaurants and bars.

Tyler, thank you so much! We really appreciate it.

  • Tyler was a great host. Friendly, considerate and always easy to communicate with.
His place is fantastic - not only lots of sun, but a huge room, well equipped kitchen, working fan and so close to everything (cafés, grocery stores, subway and PROSPECT PARK).
We really enjoyed staying at his place and meeting him.
