About this listing
The cottage is Tardis-like in that it is bigger inside than it looks. It is characterful but with all mod cons and has a private, sun drenched back garden. Peasenhall is a perfect base for visiting the coastal hot spots, like Aldeburgh, or country.
Set in the centre of the pretty village of Peasenhall, near Saxmundham, this cottage has just been completely refurbished to a very high standard and offers wheelchair access to the whole ground floor, including a specially designed ground floor suite of bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with wheel-in shower, and to the quirky private rear garden.
Apart from the wheelchair accessible suite, the ground floor comprises a large, comfortably furnished living room, with large tv with Sky and wifi internet access, a fully equipped modern kitchen and utility room. There is underfloor heating throughout.
Upstairs has two large double bedrooms and modern bathroom with a bath with shower, with radiators for heating.
The cottage is tastefully furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and paintings and high quality equipment.
Parking is on-street.
The surrounding area is one of outstanding beauty with the coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh close by. Snape Maltings, an arts complex which hosts several festivals, is a 15 minute drive.
For gastronomes, the area is now brimming with great eateries - the Sibton White Horse is within a 15 minute walk of the cottage.
A small, well-behaved dog would be allowed.
