Miraflores is a safe neighborhood with a sense of community. There are many activities during the weekend in Park Kennedy such as enabled bike paths, public aerobics and a street art Gallery and typical bites every day. It is perfect for walks and jogging by the beach. The area is worth to explore.
A taxi from the airport is approx. S/. 60. You can take a taxi to get around Lima. Also, if you like to walk, Miraflores is the right place to be. It is a place where you can find anything around the corner. There is also a bus stop very near to take the Metropolitano (direct bus service) along Lima and to the Lima historic center.
Please do not throw toilet paper in the toilet bowl...it's a Peruvian rule, due to its sewer system.
Please turn off appliances and lights before leaving each time.
Please do not smoke inside the apartment, there is a balcony outside where you are welcome to smoke.
You do not need to wash the bed clothing for check out, we take care of that and it is included in the check out cleaning fee. Please try to leave a tidy apartment with the dishes, pots and pans clean.
Please inform asap if you are locked out and need a key replacement or if something is damaged so that we can take care of it.
Our lock out service cost is $10 (without a key copy) and $15 (with a key copy) from 9 am - 8pm.
The trash should be taken out regularly to the main duct in S1 basement. The trash duct in each floor is temporarily closed. You can discard the trash in a well closed trash bag. It should not contain blades, glass or anything that could hurt the cleaning personnel.
Power in Peru is 220w, please do not use appliances that are 110 w, (usually from the United States) because it will burn your appliance (hair blower, electric razors, night lights, etc) unless they have both voltages like computers.
Clean, great location. Clear instructions. This place is exactly what I expected. Thank you Karin.
We had a great time at this apartment! Lovely place to stay in the middle of bustling Miraflores. Very close to Parque Kenney and only a 15 minute walk to the ocean front. Supermarkets and everythingmelse one might need close by. We stayed for four weeks and were very grateful for the well equiped kitchen as well as the equipment of the whole apartment. The apartment is very quiet and cool during the day, which makes it perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Thanks to Karin and Pilar we felt very well taken care of. I can highly recommend staying - there short and long term.
Really nice flat within easy reach of Kennedy Park, the Inca Market and other sights. Its next door to the Sheraton Four Points, so easy to get taxis to navigate back. Nice restaurants within easy reach, including one of the best rated places for cuy in Lima just around the corner (Las Tejas). A supermarket is also just a few blocks down the road. Karin was very responsive to emails and the whole process of renting the apartment was a breeze. I highly recommen d the apartment!
As per the description, it was indeed a nice unit in the centre of Miraflores. Close to my Spanish classes and parque Kennedy. Everything in unit was new and shiny and worked. Host had someone available to match my arrival and departure times which was appreciated.
Shower was nice and warm - important in winter. I do note that units here seem to have small hot water tanks so you have to keep showers brief. But the shower was tops after previous units in Cusco and elsewhere.
Apartment windows are to central void in complex so no view to the lovely grey Lima winter sky. It means that you don't get traffic noise - woohoo - just occasional carpark noise.
Would stay here again.
Great location close to all the restaurants. It was a pretty stock standard apartment and perhaps a bit corporate, but still definitely better than staying in a hotel.
Karin was great and very responsive. The apartment is exactly like the pictures and has a great, central location in Miraflores. We were greeted promptly by the Pilar the local manager and she was very helpful and responsive when we had a small issue with the kitchen sink.
appartment is the same as listed, i really enjoyed the location as its close to everything but at the same time very quiet. Appartment was equipped well with laundry machine which was very useful. I really enjoyed my stay there !
