Where you’ll be

Sortland - Suortá, Nordland, Norway

Here you live in the middle of the region and can reach most of the region's tourist gems within about 45 min;

The fishing village Nyksund and Stø in Øksnes. The Hurtigruten museum at Stokmarknes in Hadsel along with a visit to the gallery Uvær where they sell handmade glass art, coffee and cakes.
The drive to Bø is lovely in itself and a visit to the restaurant at Ringstad resort is cozy.

Climbing mountain Ræka can be viewed from the living room window. The same can be the mountain Mikkeltinden, which is a lovely hike to walk. The house is close to lake where it is lovely to paddle and fish in the summer, and go skiing and enjoy the snow in the winter.

Otherwise, Vesterålen can offer muses, whale watching, dog sledding, great mountains for hiking, chalk white beaches, seagull mountains, small cafes in the shore or close to the forest and lots of more.

This beautiful property has been in family for generations. My father grew up here, by the water and close to the city. Now we take care of the place with pride, keeping it clean, neat and well maintained. We love sharing this special place with guests who appreciate peace, nature and charm. Welcome to us!
