The Weaver's Loft is on the first floor of the East Wing in a very special Grade II listed, self-catering holiday let in the beautiful Cotswold village of Chalford. Just a short drive away is the 'Capital of the Cotswolds' Cirencester, Painswick, Cheltenham, Stroud, the antiques center of Tetbury, the World Heritage City of Bath, Bourton-on-the-Water and much more.
The recently refurbished accommodation is a fabulous loft-style apartment comprising a large open plan living/dining area complete with wood burner and under floor heating throughout. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen along with washer/dryer, 1 double with fabulous views of the valley and an ensuite shower and toilet and a bunk room and separate bathroom. An over-flow sofa bed is available in the living area for the 5th and 6th guests.
The Loft forms part of a large listed property, once occupied by the owner of one of the local mills. The Weaver's Loft is believed to be originally a 'factory' floor for the weaving of wool or silk from Sevilles' Mill.
There is also a 2nd property available sleeping up to 6 in 2 bedrooms. This will be listed on airbnb soon!
Linen and towels provided. More information on our website which is not allowed to be listed here - contact me for details.
You have your own private garden plus parking for one car.

We're usually on site and around if you have any questions or want to borrow DVDs or games. However, it's up to you how much you see us - if you want to be left alone, then you might not see us at all!
It's a truly beautiful part of the world and I'm not just saying that because I'm biased. Fantastic for walkers and sight-see'ers and you can enjoy much of what's on offer without even getting into your car. Although there's also lots to see a short drive away too.
There's a train from London to Stroud and although there is public transport it's not fantastically well serviced to Chalford. Get in touch and I can advise depending on what you'd like to do.
The property is self-catering so please bring all your supplies (although they can be purchased locally). Basic supplies of washing up liquid, tea & coffee and those sort of things are provided.
It's a lovely loft apartment in the beautiful Cotswolds. Warm and cozy (the electric blanket helps) and very well equipped.
The loft and house were great, everything we needed was there and we were very comfortable. We didn't meet Anna who was away, but when we had a small issue with the internet she quickly helped us out. I would definitely recommend this as somewhere to stay. Chalford Village is very scenic and relaxing, perfect base to explore the rest of the Cotswolds from or just relax at the house sitting around the fire.
We arrived the house at dark and we came with a big car, the road is so small that we kept worrying to go through.
The house is very cosy and my husband loves it a lot. Extra good thing is we can warm up the place without worrying too much to pay extra for the log, of course we behave.
Would def put this on my recommendation list. Just warn them not going with big car if they are not good driver.
We had a lovely stay in the loft! Anna and her husband made us feel welcome and were always on hand to help. The log-burner made it really cosy, despite being mid-December, and there was even a little Christmas tree, which was a nice touch. It's in the perfect location for a relaxing, quiet long weekend but it's only a short drive to Cirencester and Cheltenham and there are several cute little pubs nearby. The only downside was that the loft was very cold when the log burner hadn't been lit for a few hours as there is only underfloor heating in the flat which doesn't get very hot, but apart from that we had a great stay.
The place is great! We wanted to experience country living, we found it at Anna's place. My boys love attending to the fire place and I love the open concept. People with big van have to be careful though because the roads are narrow. Anna is helpful and suggest us the routes for us to take. She even allow us to check out late. Thanks Anna.
We had a wonderful 3 nights stay in the loft apartment. the cottage is set in such a beautiful part of the country and so pretty. The apartment itself was very spacious and welcoming and so well equipped and thank goodness for the log fire as it was cold! It was the perfect location to go out and explore what was local, Stroud, Cirencester and we even managed a trip to Bristol and would highly recommend the Wild Place project especially if you have little ones. It was a shame the weather on our trip wasn't great as the views would of been so pretty and the local walks in the area would of been lovely to do....we'll just have to come back again! Thank you to our host Anna.
Our stay at the Weaver's Loft was perfect! The loft was just as advertised: stunning, extremely clean, all rooms fully equipped with working appliances, and very quiet. The loft is very spacious and appointed with nice artwork and modern comfortable furniture. Anna was in quick email contact while setting up the reservation and was at the loft to greet us upon arrival. Between the house, the town, and our lovely hosts, nothing was out of place with our stay. Perfect!

I live in Chalford (next to the holiday let we're advertising here), with my husband, dog and daughter. Not necessarily in that order, I just think Dog & Daughter would make a great name for a pub.
We have two holiday lets in Chalford and have lived here ourselves for over 8 years, loving the countryside, walks, easy access London, Bath, Cheltenham, Birmingham etc...
We're big on travelling ourselves and have recently returned from an 8 month stint around Southern Africa. New to Airbnb but it's come highly recommended, so we're giving it a go for advertising and also for seeking new places ourselves.
