The Weaver's Loft is on the first floor of the East Wing in a very special Grade II listed, self-catering holiday let in the beautiful Cotswold village of Chalford. Just a short drive away is the 'Capital of the Cotswolds' Cirencester, Painswick, Cheltenham, Stroud, the antiques center of Tetbury, the World Heritage City of Bath, Bourton-on-the-Water and much more.
The recently refurbished accommodation is a fabulous loft-style apartment comprising a large open plan living/dining area complete with wood burner and under floor heating throughout. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen along with washer/dryer, 1 double with fabulous views of the valley and an ensuite shower and toilet and a bunk room and separate bathroom. An over-flow sofa bed is available in the living area for the 5th and 6th guests.
The Loft forms part of a large listed property, once occupied by the owner of one of the local mills. The Weaver's Loft is believed to be originally a 'factory' floor for the weaving of wool or silk from Sevilles' Mill.
There is also a 2nd property available sleeping up to 6 in 2 bedrooms. This will be listed on airbnb soon!
Linen and towels provided. More information on our website which is not allowed to be listed here - contact me for details.
You have your own private garden plus parking for one car.
We're usually on site and around if you have any questions or want to borrow DVDs or games. However, it's up to you how much you see us - if you want to be left alone, then you might not see us at all!
It's a truly beautiful part of the world and I'm not just saying that because I'm biased. Fantastic for walkers and sight-see'ers and you can enjoy much of what's on offer without even getting into your car. Although there's also lots to see a short drive away too.
There's a train from London to Stroud and although there is public transport it's not fantastically well serviced to Chalford. Get in touch and I can advise depending on what you'd like to do.

Anna was very welcoming and her directions to her house were perfect. The town, the house and our apartment are all lovely and we had a great time staying there. We had a very comfortable stay and everything was perfect. Chalford is a great location to stay in the Cotswolds and i wish we had more time there. Thankyou Anna.
Absolutely wonderful! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The loft was indeed stunning and we were very warmly received and felt very comfortable. Anna was extremely helpful with suggestions on places to shop, visit, play, and hike. The area is lush and beautiful with so much to explore. Our children loved the local playground with access to the river and the wonderful, historic trails to hike.
Our time in Chalford was magical! What a lovely little corner of the world! If you hike around on the streets and pathways, you will see some stunning views and beautiful countryside! Be sure when you come, to spend some time exploring this lovely valley.
We were so comfortable in this loft lodging! It's spacious and bright. Although the owners live in the house, and there is another rental, the loft is very private and very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The grounds are lovely as well, and very peaceful. Anna was very helpful with suggestions about the surrounding area and things to do. We loved it here!
Thank you, Simson family, for sharing your home with us!
It is a lovely cottage in Chalford, very quiet & peaceful. The loft was comfortable for our family of 6 and it's an ideal location for exploring the nearby cotswold villages. Anna is very friendly, helpful and her recommendations for restaurant in the nearby vicinity was marvellous!
This is THE perfect place to stay. Anna made our stay easy and pleasurable. The loft is comfortable and enough for a family of four or six. There were 3 adults and two kids in our group and there was plenty of room.
You have easy access to the cotswolds, and if you are like us and escaping from London - this is an ideal location close enough to reach in a couple of hours.
There is everything you need in the apartment if you want to eat in - or easy to reach some good eateries.
We had a wonderful peaceful break. Will be returning with a bigger group this summer! as Anna has a cottage downstairs too so ideal for the bigger family or group.
We stayed at Anna's beautiful loft while working at the Cheltenham Gold Cup Races and we had an absolutely magical stay. Anna kept in contact with us before we got to the loft and was there on our arrival to welcome us and provide us with any information and advice we needed. Every evening Anna lit a wood burner in time for our return from work which was an absolute delight to come back to. We work away from home quite a lot and it can be difficult at times but staying at Anna's we felt like we were on holidays. The place had everything one can possibly need to feel like home, it was very comfortable and most importantly for us EXTREMELY quiet. We just wish we had more time to explore the area and all the beautiful things it has to offer.
Like some of the previous guests have mentioned, the drive up to the property is very narrow and parking is a bit tight but shouldn't be a problem for anyone who have passed the driving test.
Thank you, Anna, very much for the most comfortable, welcoming and warm (literally) stay. We shall highly recommend you to all our friends
and we wish you the best of luck in future.
Alexandra, Edina and Andy.
We (group of 6) enjoyed a much needed 4 night get-away from the bright lights of London. The loft was very spacious, clean and provided everything to our needs. The fire kept us warm (once it gets going) during our relaxed nights in and the beds and duvets are also very comfy and warm. Chalford is a lovely part of the Cotswolds and great base to explore the rest of the surrounding areas (The Slaughters, Bourton-on-the-Water, Westonbirt Arboretum) with recommended walks near-by along the disused canal. The roads are very narrow on approach so drive with care; specially at night. Anna was away when we arrived but ensured there was a way for us to collect keys and let ourselves into the loft. I'd recommend the property to anyone and would consider returning again.
A great three days, lovely hospitality by Anna and her family. The duvets are sooo warm!
Just need to be good at reversing, the road can be tricky.
Look forward to telling other people to stay there.
We loved our stay in Anna's Cotswolds' Loft. The location was great for beautiful towns like Cirencester and for country pubs, coffee shops and stunning walks. The accommodation was really comfortable with everything our family needed. Thank you Anna!
A very clean and fresh flat. I wish my home was so fresh. The surrounding was breathtaking. We love the houses climbing up the hill. Took the car to Oxford and London. No problem finding parking, no problem with traffic.
What we miss was chairs to relax in the garden
