This was my second time staying at Anne's place and my experience was like my first time: great! The apartment is comfortable and well-located, something I was especially grateful for given the 50cm of snow that fell the night I arrived! As usual, communications were prompt and very helpful. I'd recommend staying here highly - except when I want to stay of course! :-)

Great apartment! Awesome location - close to absolutely everything: museum, art gallery, Byward Market, shops, restaurants, skating on the canal (even in frigid temperatures a must-do :) Highly recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay and a great location. Anne was a fabulous host, very attentive and responsive. The home is exactly as shown. In addition, it was very clean, nicely decorated, well stocked, and most importantly, there was no clutter or personal belongings in the unit. The location was also ideal in that it was close to the Market but on a quiet and calm street. In addition, there were large closets throughout the unit, which made a long stay very comfortable. My favourite part though was the beautiful wood floors. The unit also gets lots of light during the day, which is an added bonus. The only small drawbacks were the small bathroom, and particularly the small sized sink, and that the kitchen wasn't renovated. The kitchen however is very spacious. Overall, a highly recommended stay in Ottawa.

We were greeted with a foot and a half of fresh snow and a shoveled walk and a space for our car off the street--just what we needed. Thanks! Temperatures were as low as -4 degrees on two days so a good warm apartment with tea and a cozy duvet keep us happy. For a little adventure we crossed the street to the Bridgehead coffee shop and found the reception equally warm there. You are so close to all kinds of restaurants and museums that even sub zero weather is not an obstacle. Everything you need is in the house or near by.

Anne's apartment is beautiful, clean and conveniently located in the Byward Market in downtown Ottawa. Anything you may need is within easy walking distance. Anne was the perfect host and checked in with me regularly during my extended stay to make sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Anne's apartment for anyone traveling to Ottawa!

Once upon a time my husband and I lived in different cities and spent a fair amount of time travelling to see one another in various far-flung places. We loved nice restaurants, going to see live music, seeing new places and meeting new people. We still love those things actually, but we’re living a quieter life in Ottawa now that we’re parents of a four-year old girl.

I had the very good fortune of spending lots of time in New York and Paris where I was seconded for work. My husband grew up working in his family’s business – a B&B. We like to think that the combination of these experiences gives us a pretty good idea of what people want when they are travelling for work or pleasure. To sum it up in our opinion: a nice spacious bed for a good night sleep after a long day, a location close to the action so if you feel like going out, it’s easy to do, and lastly place that’s clean, cosy and quiet so if you prefer to stay in and watch TV, it’s comfortable.
