Escape to your own private oasis on a UNESCO World Heritage Site! This charming red cottage on a fortress is the perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful getaway with all the amenities of home.

The space
Inside the cottage, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and combined living/bedroom - complete with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. For those looking to truly unwind, the cottage also features a private wood heated sauna. (Heated by appointment and extra fee.) And if you are cool enough, you may have your morning swim just a 100 m located beach and after it enjoy breakfast in your own yard.

To Suomenlinna you can take either HSL ferry or FRS waterbus, both leave from the Market Square (Kauppatori). From the ferry the way to the cottage is about 800 m and from the waterbus (Tykistölahti) about 300 m. Suomenlinna is car-free area and remember that part of the roads are cobble stoned.

The whole cottage is reserved for the guests and the instruction for check-in will be sent a couple of days before it.

Other things to note
The real highlight of this destination is the island itself. Situated just a short 15-minute ferry ride from the bustling downtown of Helsinki, the island offers a tranquil retreat with all the conveniences of city living. With a grocery store, restaurants, museums, art galleries and cafes just within a 10-minute walk from your doorstep, you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the island without sacrificing any modern luxuries.

When you're ready to explore, the island has plenty to offer. Take a leisurely stroll through the walls and caves of the fortifications, or simply soak up the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. And in the meanwhile, if you need a rest, have a cup of coffee or lunch in one of the several cafes and restaurants on the island. Then drop in for ex. Suomenlinna Museum.

At the end of the day, return to your cozy red cottage for a night of relaxation and rejuvenation. Sip a glass of wine on the yard enjoying historical views, climb to the cliffs as you take in the breathtaking sunset, or snuggle up inside with a good book.

It’s also simple to visit mainland, center of Helsinki. By waterbus or ferry it takes only abt 15 min.
