Nicholas was out of town, so his daughter greeted us. She was welcoming and friendly. However, informed us that there will be no breakfast available to us at this BNB. The room was light and airy and the bed was comfortable. Although it was walking distance to the city center, the location was a bit further that I prefer and restaurants were quite a walk.
The house is very, very well located -- only blocks away from downtown Waterford. We were surprised and delighted by the charm and history of the village!! Nick was very kind and accommodating when we ended up with more guests in our party than we had planned. He was a wonderful host! Thank you, Nick!! :-)
He met us in the rain as we were asking strangers on street where he lived. I think all hosts should provide instructions how to get tO their house. He did direct us to a pub for Pizza? Really didn't have much dialogue with host......his daughter was sweet and helpful.
Lovely stay at Nick's, only thing I regret is not sharing more time getting to know him !!
Merci Nick !
See you next time !
I couldn’t have chosen a better place to begin my stay in Ireland. Nick is an excellent host, friendly, kind, and willing to help when needed. I loved the house, my room was very comfortable, and I definitely felt welcome. The house is in a great location if you don’t have a car. There is a lot to see and do within walking distance. I not only had a place to stay but made new friends as well. I hope to have a return visit before leaving Ireland.
Nick is an excellent host, warm, friendly and very helpful. His home has everything that you could wish for and is in an excellent location, quiet but close to the city center.
I really loved the cosy king size bed and the house is really nice. Even if at first I was worried about coming to Ireland alone , staying at Nicholas's house made my first week in Ireland a lot more easy.
Thank you Nicholas for your kind hospitality !
