We had a wonderful time staying with Nick at his house in Waterford. The house is in a great location - easy walking distance to all the historic sights, shopping, restaurants and pubs. Nick is a great host, inviting us to attending trad music sessions with him in the local pubs. What fun - it was the highlight of our time there! Our room was very comfortable and clean and we slept great while there. Nick was very generous with his space and we felt very comfortable.
Nick was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. His house is in a great location and it was easy to walk into town. The room was nice with an ensuite bathroom, up a some stairs that were not difficult to maneuver. Nick invited us to listen to him play in a nearby pub and we had one of the best nights of our trip. It was a very friendly group and the music was terrific. Nick provided off street parking, which was very helpful. Overall, a nice place to stay.
Nick was a wonderful host! The house is located in a lovely area close to the main attractions of Waterford. Nick provided us with wonderful advice and gave us fantastic recommendations.
Welcomed us at the train station. Room was exactly as described. Very close to attractions and to the train station. Area is very friendly and close to everything.
Nicholas is very helpful and plays good music we enjoyed at a pub.
Very nice stay and experience in Waterford.
Nicholas was out of town, so his daughter greeted us. She was welcoming and friendly. However, informed us that there will be no breakfast available to us at this BNB. The room was light and airy and the bed was comfortable. Although it was walking distance to the city center, the location was a bit further that I prefer and restaurants were quite a walk.
The house is very, very well located -- only blocks away from downtown Waterford. We were surprised and delighted by the charm and history of the village!! Nick was very kind and accommodating when we ended up with more guests in our party than we had planned. He was a wonderful host! Thank you, Nick!! :-)
He met us in the rain as we were asking strangers on street where he lived. I think all hosts should provide instructions how to get tO their house. He did direct us to a pub for Pizza? Really didn't have much dialogue with host......his daughter was sweet and helpful.
