This is a traditional style room in a Victorian house. The bed is a full double, and comes with fresh towels and linens. The windows are double layered with blinds and sash curtains. There's an ensuite bathroom with shower, and all the furniture is antique - you'll have a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and dressing table to allow you to organise your things during the stay.
You'll have access to free wifi throughout the house, and you can arrange use of the kitchen for breakfast and washer/dryer by request.
You'll be situated in a prestigious area of the City and close to all local amenities. Waterford airport is a 15 minutes drive away. The room is on the 1st floor of a large period Victorian house on the edge of the Viking Quarter of Waterford. Local supermarket and multiplex cinema is 2 minutes walk away. ‘Peoples Park’, across the road, dating from 1857, has 2 children’s playgrounds, and offers a relaxing environment for strollers, joggers, skateboarders and families or a tasty snack in the old Park Lodge café.
Waterford has numerous festivals throughout the year, 2 vibrant theatres and, of course, the world famous Waterford Crystal Centre in the Viking quarter. There is a wealth of restaurants and pubs to suit every taste within easy walking distance. Dublin and Cork are an hour and a half drive away and rail and bus routes are frequent from both. Tramore, Ireland’s premier beach resort, is 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bus. There are numerous scenic drives and walks along the Gold Coast or in the Comeragh mountains, all within a short drive away.
Above all, it's a friendly house!

Nicholas is a fantastic host! Helpful, friendly, extremely kind. His house is really beautiful and the bed is very comfortable! We spent a lovely evening with him and his mom, thanks! More than recommended.
Unfortunately Nicholas was absent at our arrival and during our stay. The room itself was OK, although a bit noisy in the morning with traffic. Still, Waterford is a nice city to visit !
We had wonderful stay here! Nicholas' home is beautiful and the room was comfortable and lovely. Even though Nicholas was out of town when we arrived, he made arrangements for us to be greeted and welcomed in at our arrival. The house is walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. Very convenient! Thanks, Nicholas! We hope to meet you one day. We will definitely book again for our next visit to Waterford.
Nicholas was a really good host. He had a problem with electricity because of the storm but made everything for us to have light. The bed was very comfortable and we had a private bathroom. he proposed us tea and coffee and adviced us a really nice pub arround the corner.
Nicholas is a really nice host and I reccomand him
We only got to stay in Waterford one night, but we had a lovely time! The house was so quaint, and our room was warm and cozy. Lots of parking on the street also, which is great if travelling by car. Highly recommend this central location!
Thanks Nick :-)
Our stay with Nick was wonderful. His house is quite eclectic and tidy and is in a perfect location for walking to the city center. Better yet, Nick was an excellent host who shared his love of and talent for music with us. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Waterford!
Nick was fabulous, he was kind enough to pick me up at the train station. His place is everything stated; 10 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to a large grocery store, and next to a park. I was lucky to meet Nick's mother (on her 90th birthday) and his brother. The evening in the pub with his family was great, Nick plays a mean guitar. Will be in touch on my next trip to Waterford. Thanks for everything Nick.
Great location, lovely park accross the road from the house and walking distance to the city centre. Pubs, supermarket and cinema all close by.
Nick is a friendly interesting person and a great host. If you want
