Comfortable room in a beautiful house- great location from which to walk around the city and the ability to park your car in the driveway is a another bonus. Would happily stay again! Thanks for having us!
My friend and I took two en suite rooms with Nick in Waterford and were happy with our stay. His home was once a b-and-b and therefore has very clean and efficient bathroom and shower facilities, which was not the case in all of our stays on this trip. His Georgian neighborhood has charm and is an easy walk from the heart of Waterford.
After meeting Nick at the door to his house we saw very little of him due to his work and band practice.
Our room was large and quite comfortable with ensuite included.and the kitchen is available for use if required.
Nick was a great host! It was our first Air B&B experience, and he got us off to a great start. Our room was comfy & clean, and his house, a nice cozy former "official" B&B, is just a stone's throw from the Viking Triangle In Waterford, and a great base to explore the city from.
Upon arrival, he helped us get settled in, recommended a great nearby pub for dinner, and invited us to come out to a session he was playing at in another nearby pub. We had a great time , enjoyed the music, and met a bunch of friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. I'd recommend for sure!
Nicholas was so very accomodating! I made a very-last-minute reservation and he was kind and helpful when I arrived. His home is very charming and in a great location!
It was great to stay in this nice house in Waterford, clean and comfortable, within walking distance of downtown. After some complication making contact due to phone and internet problems, everything worked out really well. Nicholas was a great host and I even got to join him and his group of musician friends for a little jamming at a local pub.
Nick is a very nice host. His kitchen might not be the tidiest place in the world but he is definitely one of the nicest people I met in Ireland. He’s a brilliant musician. We had a fabulous time with his band playing in a pub at the very night of our arrival in Waterford, which was one of the highlights of our holiday.
I was really pleased with my stay with Nicholas. The location was great, the room just right and he was very welcoming and friendly. It was nice to share a drink and learn more about him and Waterford.
