Welcome to the enchanting farmhouse of Lake Turano ❀
An oasis of serenity surrounded by greenery, just 1 hour away from Rome.

The spacious property features four bedrooms, free WIFI, free parking, and a stunning double panoramic view, with Mount Terminillo on one side and Lake Turano on the other.

The space
Independent farmhouse made of wood and stone that stands out over the surrounding area, offering a very bright position. Spacious and welcoming, the property is equipped with all comforts to ensure maximum relaxation and pleasure, creating an authentic and suggestive atmosphere. We are located at 800 meters above sea level, offering a cooler environment even in summer.

• Garden: The garden has an area with outdoor furniture where you can relax or dine outdoors. There is a wood-fired oven and a barbecue corner.

• Upper floor: Each Suite (double bedroom) is equipped with a Queen-size bed, independent from the living room. Each bedroom is equipped with a 28-inch Smart TV.

The main suite has access to the balcony, overlooking the lake and the valley, and a private full bathroom, ensuring excellent privacy from the rest of the family or friends. The private bathroom has a window, a bathtub, sanitary facilities, a hairdryer, and a courtesy kit with shampoo and bath foam.

The other two double bedrooms have views of the mountains and Mount Terminillo.

There is a single bedroom with a view of the lake and the valley.

Lake Turano is a small natural gem located in Eastern Sabina, away from mass tourism, making it an ideal destination for those who love lakes, nature, lush landscapes, and uncrowded places. During the summer, you can enjoy its free or equipped beaches.

The local trattorias and restaurants offer excellent food at generally affordable prices. The nearest one to you is a 3-minute drive away and is called "Il Tartufo".


I highly recommend visiting the enchanting village of Castel di Tora and the Medieval Village of Monte Antuni. Both places are definitely worth a visit.

I also recommend visiting the spectacular Fortress of Rocca Sinibalda, which is one of the most fascinating castles in Italy and a national monument. It dates back to the year 1000 and was transformed into a powerful military fortress and luxurious noble palace during the Renaissance.


To reach Lake Turano, you can use various means of transportation from anywhere.

• Distance from Rome: 80 km
• Distance from Rieti: 20 km

If you're traveling by plane, the closest airports are Ciampino and Fiumicino, located approximately one hour and twenty minutes and one hour and forty minutes away, respectively.

If you prefer to drive, you can take Via Salaria, the A1, or the A24 Roma l'Aquila highways to reach the lake.

For public transportation, you can take a train from Rome's Termini Station to Carsoli, which takes about one hour. From Carsoli, you can then take a bus to the surrounding areas of the lake, including the stop at "Il Tartufo" restaurant, which is the closest to our Casale.

However, we recommend traveling by car or taking a taxi because there is an 800-meter dirt road to reach our location.

We also offer the option of arranging a driver upon request for many of these transfers.
