Renovated house. Air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathroom. In the heart of the médina of Salé.

The space

In the heart of Salé, (very close to the famous town of Rabat, at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, situated on the shore of the river.) near to the Medersa and inside the Medina (old city), I live in a traditional Moroccan house completely rebuilt in 2011.
You'll find two bedrooms with AC and private bathrooms and a traditional Moroccan living room.
I can accommodate up to 4 people.

The breakfast can be served in the "patio" (courtyard) or on the terrace (at the top)

Moreover if you want to try Moroccan food, Bouchra will prepare the meal of your choice.

You can travel to Rabat easily with the tramway (streetcar).
The Médina and the city center of Rabat are approximately 20 mn away (10 mn on foot and 10 mn of streetcar: price of the ticket of streetcar = 6 dirhams).

It'll be my pleasure, to receive you in my house and let you discover the history, alleyways, streets, markets, people and souks of the beautiful and famous Médina of Salé.

I hope to see you soon.
Hajiba

Hajiba and Guy are the best AirBnB hosts i've ever stayed with. They love Salé and Rabat and want you to enjoy it too. They went above and beyond any other host I've stayed with. They're great and their home is great.

A remarkable host and a beautiful riad! We stayed for only one night with Hajiba but wish we had been able to stay for more. Hajiba was extremely helpful, meeting us at the train station even though our train was 40 minutes delayed, and giving us a fantastic walking tour of the under-visited Sale medina during our walk to the riad. She gave us many cups of excellent mint tea, and helped guide us to our destinations in town. She guided us to see a truly remarkable view of the beaches and Rabat from the Sale medina wall that we otherwise would have missed. The building is large and well furnished, extremely clean and with one of the best showers we experienced in Morocco. WiFi was fast and consistent. It is very near to a beautiful 12th century Mosque, which you get an excellent view of from the roof top. We were flying from the Rabat-Sale airport early the next morning, and Hajiba arranged not only for a grand taxi to pick us up, but for the driver to meet us at the door of the riad so we were not lost or uncomfortable walking through the dark medina. Moreover, she woke up at 4am (!) to make us one of the best breakfasts we had in Morocco and serve excellent spiced Moroccan coffee. I've never arrived for an early morning flight feeling so refreshed. Truly a superior host and property. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we return to Rabat-Sale!

I have never felt so at home with people I just met!... This family took us in as if we were old high-school exchange friends that came back to visit. We found the place to be more than cozy!... A beautiful house with a lovely family. The house is an experience in itself, all recently built and beautifully Moroccan. The experience was beyond more than we could ask for. It made our trip to Morocco memorable from shopping in the medina, visiting the local hammam and visiting the beach. This family lived the life with us as though we were family. We loved Rabat as the markets were lively and had almost no tourists and we felt like we were living the local life. Hajiba, Guy and Mathieu, thank you so much! We love you!

Hajiba and her husband Guy were incredible!!!! My friend and I stayed with them for 4 days in their beautiful home in the medina of Salé. They were so accommodating and really helped us explore Rabat and Salé to the fullest. Guy met us at the train station and rode with us in a taxi to the home. they prepared breakfast for us each day and we cooked dinner with them one night, all meals were delicious. Both Guy and Hajiba are very knowledgable about the two cities and Morocco as a whole and our conversations were very enlightening. They took us to see the real sites and we even went to a jazz festival in the nearby city of Chellah. It is hard to fully express how great our experience was staying with them. I would recommend staying at this listing to anyone who wants to have a incredibly unique experience while traveling to Morocco. I will definitely stay with them again on my next trip back.

La maison était merveilleux! Trés trés bon expérience! Hajiba est une hôte exceptionelle. Best place we have ever stayed at with airbnb. The home and room are absolutely stunning. Even the pictures don't do it justice. Hajiba was a wonderful guide for people new to Rabat-Salé. She took us out multiple times to see the city, and even got us into some places that other tourists are normally not allowed to see. Wonderful breakfast and tea provided every morning. Rabat and Salé are both beautiful cities with a lot to do and see. We easily could have stayed much longer. Merci beaucoup Hajiba!
