[Apartment & Privacy]

It is relative more spacious comparing with other rooms / studio you will find in Hong Kong. However it can be perceived as still “small” comparing with apartments in other country so it is rather subjective. To put this into prospective, a couple will find it is a very comfortable in terms of size. A small family with three persons will find it is fairly comfortable in terms of size. A group of four person will only suit for short term stay.
Equipped with a double size bed with two real mattress (one soft layer and one hard layer to accommodate different needs).
Living room has a "3 + 2" seat sofa which can be used as a bed. we also have a foldable bed on request so totally can fit for 4 person. We provide
➢7.2mpbs wifi Internet
➢32’ch Toshiba LCD TV
TV Cable Channels
111: HBC Hits
112: HBO Family
114: HBC Signature
Basic kitchenware provided – it is a functional kitchen for basic cooking needs rather heavy cooking needs
➢Electric stove (one).

Leo and Eileen's place is as central as you can get. It is clean, comfortable and perfect for a couple. It is a typical cozy Hong Kong apartment (space is very limited in this city so most flats are very small) located on the 6th floor of a 1960s building with an elevator and all amenities nearby. There are good restaurants within short walking distance (a great Nepalese one called Himalaya across the street) and it is perfectly located to explore central Hong Kong. A very good budget option!
Having just given the apartment I stayed in London a rave review I thought it also important to leave a review on my stay at Leo & Eileen's apartment. In short...the apartment is disgusting. Dirty, infested with bugs, a bathroom / shower room which is falling apart, ripped furniture, and stained bed linen just to mention a few of the issues. I suppose you can't hold the owner responsible for the smells permeating around the building but be prepared for a constant smell of rotting fish upon reaching the floor and in the apartment. A one star is being kind.
This place was great!! Very well situated in Hong Kong, next to the MTR, very quiet and perfectly clean and tidy! It was a real pleasure to stay there for a week during our trip!
Thanks to Eileen and Leo! The communication before our arrival was gray, and we managed to find the place easily after our landing! Highly recommended!
I had a great stay at Eileen's apartment! The place looks just like the pictures, it was super convenient, just a few mins from the wan chai MTR station. Really enjoyed this cute apartment!
Great flat in Hong Kong! Very clean, cosy and an amazing location!
Leo and Eileen were great at staying in touch and we had no issues at all! Would definitely recommend! Thanks Eileen and Leo! :D
Cosy apartment in a great location, perfect for a few days in Hong Kong. Thanks Leo and Eileen
Eileen responded very fast, and apartment was described, small clean and nice. I had an enjoyable stay.
Perfectly located flat, clean and cosy, very very quiet and secure.
Leo was right on time and could be easily reached by whatsapp and very reactive in case (it was a bit cold in Jan and I ask him where were the plunketts).
So I recommend this flat
The location of this flat was excellent as it was right next door to my brothers place and very handy to public transport. Leo met us as arranged outside the apartment.
I would not describe the place as 'cosy' or 'stunning'. The temperature in Hong Kong during our stay was 6-7 degrees Celsius during the nights and mornings so very cold, particularly coming from Sydney summer. When we asked for a heater we were told, albeit politely, that it was not possible as it was not listed on the amenities. As you can imagine we were very cold and as we had booked for 10 days had it not been for my brothers warm apartment next door we would have been quite miserable. There is no double glazing or insulation in this building as it is very old and run down. We did all our showering at my brothers as the tiny bathroom is a 'wet' bathroom and we did not want the place any colder than it was, the hand basin was leaky so the floor was always wet. We were not given any change of linen for the 10 day stay and no cleaning was provided. The bedroom is so small the door cannot be closed as the bed is in the way. The bed was a very small double but reasonably comfortable with an Ikea topper to soften it. We borrowed a similar topper from my brother to make the sofa a little more comfortable for my husband and I to sleep on. We also borrowed extra blankets from my brother and bought hot water bottles. I was 7 months pregnant at the time of staying and we had our 5 year old with us and I can't say we were comfortable. If you were just a couple for a night or two it would be ok I think but certainly not the best for us. The internet worked well and there was some cable movie channels in English. The 'kitchen' is very basic and also tiny and consists of one electric element, 2 plates, 2 bowls and some cutlery. There was no knife for cutting so we had to purchase one. Also there was nothing to wash up dishes with or dry them so this all had to be purchased too. There is one small pot and one pan however a very large fridge?! And a sink with cold water plus a kettle plus a microwave.
Basically we managed. We travelled Asia and India for 10 years on a shoestring so we are no strangers to 'basic' living but really the way the apartment was described I thought we were getting a little more comfort for our money.
As an airbnb host for 2 years, we have met people from all around the world, and also different problems and requirements, but NEVER been so frustrated and speechless.
Except for the fan heater, we didn't received any message from Danielle about all the problems she mentioned, we are sure we will be happy to help if we were noticed
We charge cleaning fee once and that's for cleaning after check out, one-time cleaning is our standard regardless how long a guest stay e.g. some guests stayed for one month and we provide cleaning after they checkout. However, if Danielle needs extra cleaning, she could have let us know and we can provide accordingly with addition fee, but we didn't receive any require.
We have written very clear what we offer on the description, and everything is equipped. Danielle required a Fan heater which is rather personal need, we replied that we don't provide such item and it's not a standard amenities in HK.
Bed room, bathroom
The size of the bed, the size of the studio are well written on the description too, bathroom is vividly shown on the pictures. We would be appreciated if Danielle could let us know for the leaking issue so that we can quickly resolve it, it's also for other guests benefit.
Sofa is hard-
we had more than 50 guests stayed here and none concerned with the stiffness of the sofa. it is a rather person need.
all items provided are written clearly on the description, appreciate our guest understanding.
My sis and I were looking for place that is convenient so that it could be easier on my mum. Like everyone said, this apartment is in a great location - a stone throw away from Wan Chai MTR and the tram stop is even nearer. I didn't get to meet Eileen but she gave really illustrative instructions to get to the apartment. Almost impossible to get lost. The apartment was a bit small for 3 people but it is cozy and perfect for a short stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find Tai Cheong Bakery right around the corner too! Will definitely hope to stay there again in the future.
