About this listing
**NEW IN OCT. '15 Private kitchen & gorgeous remodeled bathroom** Apartment in a great location with four nearby subway lines that provide quick access to Manhattan & just off of Franklin Ave, Brooklyn's most dynamic dining & drinking corridor. Sorry - as of May 2017 the apartment is only available for longer term rentals - more than 1 month but less than 5 months.
**ROOMS UPDATED & ENHANCED IN FALL 2015** It is hard to beat this suite. There is now a sink in the kitchen-like area so you basically have your own tiny kitchen. Two burners, toaster & microwave ovens, blender, plateware, etc. The private bathroom is huge and has been completely renovated (note: while the bathroom is private for you, it is off a hallway that is common to one other apartment in the building). It is gorgeous with claw foot tub, and other great details. The large room has an extremely comfortable queen sized bed. There are a table and two chairs for eating, planning your day or getting in some work, as well as a comfy armchair for relaxin. There is a high-definition television with basic channels along with Netflix and Hulu Plus streaming services.
The room faces south and is in the rear of the building so it has lovely light and is very quiet with a calming view of leafy trees.
The bathroom is off the hall just outside the room but is private - your's alone to use.
To get to the room you don't need to enter anyone's private space, so you can have as discreet and private a stay as you like (e.g. no issues with coming home very late.) It's like staying in a European style hotel but your room has a kitchen!

We (my wife and I) have very much enjoyed hosting over these last two years. We love New York and Brooklyn and can provide insider tips on getting the most from your visit. Our Crown Heights neighborhood has a lot to offer and we enjoy sharing our home and the joy that our guests have gotten from our local offerings. We are fairly new to Sullivan County, but we really enjoy exploring its amazing natural beauty, towns and festival sites in places like Narrowsburg, Calicoon and Bethel Woods.
We have young children so that keeps us busy. But we have a lot of fun taking advantage of all Brooklyn and Sullivan County have to offer - great parks, great people and great neighborhoods.
We have also travelled a few times with AirBnb and had great experiences with other hosts.
