I live in a wonderfully bright flat in Hackney next to Victoria Park. I am not living there at the moment as I'm working in a different part of London.
It is an open planned space with high ceilings converted from a detached Victorian townhouse from 1895. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and washing machine. It's a warm, cosy and 50 square metres in area, ideal for a single person, couple or small family.
The area is well connected to central London with buses, the central line from Bethnal Green and the overground from Homerton towards Islington (Kings Cross 15 minutes). It is also very easy to get to Stratford and Westfield shopping centre (one stop from Hackney Wick). Close by are the pubs and restaurants of Hackney Village. Hackney Wick is a 5 minute walk through the park, which has the highest concentration of galleries in Europe.
I'm available by phone if you need any assistance.

I stayed with my wife at this place for 2 weeks and smoke (cigarette) is the major problem in this house. We used room fresheners day in & day out and used to leave open the windows for a couple of hours in the mornings but by the time we head back home in the evenings, the house stinks of smoke. I stayed in winters and this problem is worse. Unless Khaldoon installs a smoke extractor or takes other measures, I do not recommend this place, specially for someone allergic to smoke
Apart from this issue, I have no other complaints about this place. It is located very near to Victoria park and is just 1-2 min walk to bus stops.
