On Broad St and one block from East Bay St, this high ceiling, with large street view windows 1650sqft loft is in the middle of EVERYTHING. Don't be fooled by the places that say "downtown" Charleston where you still have to drive everywhere... or which border a ghetto. Don't be fooled by the rooms at Inns either... This huge place is a true condo. Just park the car and walk everywhere. Look at my pictures of the street level and you can see what history surrounds you.

Another bedroom has been converted into a billiard room with private bathroom as well.

Host was very accommodating! We loved our stay and the location was amazing! Highly recommend!
Aaron's place is great. Awesome location, very clean, and with the amenities we needed. Aaron was immensely helpful meeting me with the key. He also checked in over the course of our trip to make sure we had everything we needed. The perfect host.
The only issue we had was that the bar next door had very loud music and a noisy crowd until quite late on Friday and Saturday nights.
This apartment was an absolute delight to stay in. Right in the heart of downtown, this loft is all beautiful exposed brick and giant ceilings. Aaron was an extremely kind and attentive host who went out of his way to ensure that we had a truly remarkable stay. If you're in the market for something central and stunning in downtown Charleston, you would be hard put finding something nicer!
I have so many good things to say about this place, I could go on for a while. It was truly the ideal rental for my weekend in Charleston. I had a small group of friends stay two nights here, and none of us wanted to leave.
The location is walking distance to everything: restaurants, bars, waterfront, shopping, you name it. You cannot find a better starting point for any downtown adventures. Inside, you find a clean, modern, and spacious loft that retains an authentic and historic feel from the architecture.
Aaron is a very hospitable and gracious host. He is super-easy to talk to, and he would do anything to help us out.
Aaron was a fantastic and accommodating host and this loft is truly a gem! We had such an incredible weekend in the city of Charleston, and Aaron's place made it absolute perfection. It is located in the heart of downtown with amazing bars, nightlife, restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time playing pool and lounging around the loft while we were recuperating from all of our adventures in Charleston. We will absolutely stay here again when we are lucky enough to come back to Charleston. We highly recommend Oak Steakhouse (across the street from the listing), and Pearlz Oyster Bar (around the corner from the listing).
Although the host, Arron, was out of town, he left very clear instructions for accessing the apartment. He was also available via phone or email to answer any questions! His service was great! Also, the location of the apartment cannot get any better. I would definitely stay here again.
The location is amazing. Aaron was a great host and very helpful. The loft is perfect for a weekend trip with friends, it has all you need for a great time.
Aaron's place was a steal for the location to all that downtown Charleston has to offer. We were so thankful at the end of every day to be able to just walk home. The hammock was such s delight for sore feet too! His place is clean, safe, and has a great historic meets loft feel. Highly recommended and I would stay here again. Thank you Aaron!!
Aaron's loft is perfect for a downtown Charleston getaway. The proximity to delicious restaurants and other activities make the location of his loft very ideal. The bar downstairs is a bit loud, but as he says it gives you the feel of staying in the heart of the action. The bar itself is a really cool spot!
The loft was well furnished. The guest room a little sparse but there was enough space for the four of us in the entire loft. My friends and I all took pleasure in enjoying the huge bathtub upstairs, which was a nice plus.
Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend the unique loft to others. Thanks Aaron!
Aaron could not have been a more attentive host. His place is fantastic in terms of location - right in the heart of historic Charleston. It is spacious, light, clean and uncluttered. The guest bedroom was a bit spartan - furnishings consisted of a bed, but what more does one really need? The down sides were that there's a very active pub next door, which made for a lot of noise late at night. In addition, the upstairs air conditioning was good enough for me, but my hot-natured husband ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.
Thank you for staying at our loft. It was a pleasure to have you as a guest. We are looking into additional furniture for the bedroom.
I am sorry for the noise from the pub next door. Some people like being in the heart of downtown and all the excitement. Blind Tiger is a historic and popular venue. It does have live music some nights. However, there are strict noise ordinances downtown. They have to stop the music by midnight on weekdays and 2 am on weekends. If it does get too loud, turning on the fan has helped drown out the noise.
I think there may have been an issue with the a/c. I have called a technician to come and look at it. It should be fine for future guests. This was the first week we had used it this year.
Again, we appreciate all of your comments and look forward to improving the experience for future guests.
