This exquisite top floor apartment in a beautiful 1898 house features skylights, original clawfoot tub, walls lovingly filled with art, views of Cheyenne Mountain and Pikes Peak.
A 3 minute walk to a daytime skate at the Colorado College ice rink, 4 minutes to the Fine Arts Center or Numismatic Museum. Catch a free shuttle to downtown's Olympic Museum or many fine eateries. Enjoy nearby miles of hiking and biking trails. A short drive to Garden of the Gods or spectacular Seven Falls.

The space
The house is a lovingly restored 1898 with many original features and details. Built by the founder of Colorado Springs as housing for visiting Colorado College professors, it now features two full apartments housing full-time long-term tenants, as well as me -- your host, Carol.
The top floor Gallery apartment is charmingly appointed in period style while not sacrificing any comforts or necessities -- wifi is included, tv, keypad entry, etc. Large bath, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed and sitting area, as well as a reading nook and books. And the walls feature quality art pieces, many original by our local artist.
Altho we are very near Colorado College, the neighborhood is uncommonly peaceful and quiet. Likewise is this house, just the way we like it.

My cat Skitch is a performing artist, and my cat Frank is a painter and sculptor.
