This is a very nice home close to several small towns and the Czech Republic which we were able to visit. The home uses the wood burning kitchen stove to heat the water for baths and was easy once you tried it. You always knew you were going to have hot water, which is more than can be said about some of the places we visited! We learned to cook dinner while the kids were bathing, they had plenty of hot water and we had a hot meal when they were done. The countryside is absolutely gorgeous and the neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. The neighbors invited my children to watch them milk their cows and they had a great time! Roland was great on communication and his caretaker made sure we had everything we needed. We would have loved to spend a longer time here and would definitely recommend for a retreat.
