I am a former caterer, a current quilter and gardener. Once in a while, I weave a shaker-style basket and whenever the opportunity arises, I travel! My husband is an architect and we have two adult daughters. Having grown up in Brussels, I speak French fluently. With some help, I can understand basic German and manage some rudimentary Italian and Spanish. I feel very fortunate to be living in Princeton and I would love the opportunity to host you and share with you all that this small town has to offer. There is truly something for everyone. Apart form the prestigious university, its idyllic campus and impressive architecture, the town features many good restaurants including popular farm to table options. Everyone knows where to get the best coffee at Small World Coffee and the best gelato at Bent Spoon. Every Thursday, right in front of the library, there's a seasonal Farmer's Market. Across the street, at Terra Momo Bread Co. you can buy several types of artisanal breads and delicious sandwiches. If sushi is your thing, we have lots of Japanese options, as well as Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern, Greek and Mexican. Apart from the campus, a stroll in the Institute Woods is a must as is a show at the Tony award-winning McCarter Theatre. An independent movie theatre, The Garden, is also a wonderful option where you can see a National Live Theatre performance. They also feature current movies and oldies. If canoeing is something you like to do, there's a canoe rental by the tow path along the canal. Oh, and the shopping...many shops, including several consignment shops. And, of course...yoga. We have several yoga studios too!! Can you tell I like this place...I think you will too. Until we meet, be well. Emilia
