This apartment above the station is spacious, well maintained and has all mod cons. If you like trains as I do you will be particularly suited. It feels like it is out in the country but is only 30 to 40 minutes by train to Termini. In fact I had a 23 minute trip on an express once. Maria is a friendly, helpful and considerate host. I missed my appointment with her to `check in` and she was kind enough to quickly make other arrangements for which I was most grateful.
We had planned for Maria to meet me at airport, my plane was over 2 hours late, was very worried about her not being there, which I would have understood, her meeting me told me my great experience in Paris was continuing. Maria took me to the apartment, showed me the entire place, then we sat down, she told me how to get around in Rome, how to arrange trips to Naples and Florence(Firenze). With her help my stay in Italy, couldn't have better.
Beautiful clean space near about 15 min away from Termini station using the Laziali tram to the Alessi stop. Very important take a map that covers the city of Rome. the maps at the train stations only cover old rome and some of the Vatican, no further than (email hidden)und that out when I took the wrong train...the area where the apartment is located is not in the map. I also learned that Italians do not know their city...most people I asked for directions could not tell me where to go.
