Welcome to the Byron Gaia Guesthouse!
Centrally located on Jonson St & only minutes walk from town & Byron's Main beach. The bedroom is bright and spacious with a queen bed, built in robe, an adjoining balcony to relax on and your own bathroom.
Spacious, clean, bright and comfortable furnished bedroom (sheets and linen provided) with high cathedral ceilings, own private bathroom and your own large covered balcony adjoining your room.
Great central location, close to town situated near the corner of Ruskin Street and Jonson Street and an easy 2 minute stroll into the heart of Byron Bay's township, and pristine Main beach - with funky cafes, restaurants and shopping just minutes away!
The room is bright with built in robes, comfortable queen bed, own private bathroom, large windows and your very own adjoining terrace to watch the sunset through the palm trees.
Ideally the room would suit a quiet, conscious, respectful single or couple. You also have use of large kitchen, laundry, dining room etc.
Non-smoking household. Vegetarians preferred but for a short term, I'm flexible on this. (No smokers please)
From the lush hinterland to the sparkling beaches on the coast, the region is full of natural wonders. Byron Bay is a melting pot of surf culture, alternative philosophies and hedonistic indulgence.
We will interact with guests as much or as little as requested and appropriate for the guests desires.
We are sure you will find us to be unobtrusive, pleasant and personable hosts :)
** Please note: as the house is a non-smoking home, it does not suit smokers, sorry **
I'm pretty easy going and you may or may not even see me whilst you are here as I'm usually off doing something or other. I will happily let you know of any local events & if I'm going somewhere that interests you, then you are most welcome to join me. I interact with guests as much or as little as requested and appropriate for the guests desires.
I am sure you will find me to be an unobtrusive, pleasant and personable host :)
I think what makes my place unique is that it is an extremely quiet home and the apartment is large, open and airy.
Here are some fun things you can choose to do during your stay in Beautiful Byron Bay:
- One-on-one time with me, yours truly, while we chat over coffee in one of my favourite spots in the Byron Shire.
- (Learn to) surf at any one of Byron's pristine surf spots, from the gentle and forgiving Wategos beach to Broken Head for more experienced surfers.
- Walk to Byron's iconic lighthouse, where you will are lots of native fauna.
- Enjoy Byron Bay's most vibrant and charming cafés and restaurants.
- Shop in über stylish boutiques as all the fashions are rolling out.
- Finish the day with a fresh superfood smoothie soaking up the Byron vibe at the drum circle at The Wreck at sunset (gorgeous and lively!)
Then grab happy hour cocktails at nearby Miss Margarita with some of the best people watching in Byron Bay!
- Finally, put your feet up in super comfort and rest well in a queen sized bed!
Looking forward to hearing from you, xoxo,
There is a local bus service literally on the nearest corner which will take you to Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby, Bangalow, Lennox Head and Ballina.
If you arrive by plane, there are hire cars at the airport (Ballina the closest is 20 mins away and Gold Coast is about 1 hour away). There are shuttle buses departing both airports frequently which can generally drop you "door to door" upon request.
I'm not a smoker, so if you are please only smoke outside away from the house and be aware of smoke not coming inside the house.

Acacia's place was great: so central with a really warm "Byron" welcome. She gave great food tips, and it was just a shame that we could not stay longer. Really clean and good vibe to her place.
Best value in Byron! Great spacious room and balcony in prime location, Acacia was a great host who was happy to share her local knowledge and insight. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality!
I found the accomadation very satisfactory. Great to be within an easy walk to the main street. Accacia was very welcoming and made me feel at home.
My first stay with an airbnb good job!
Unfortunately I could only stay one night at Acacias place as she was pretty much booked out. Acacia is a very sweet and welcoming person that made my stay memorable even for that short period. She shared very useful information on the social life of Byron Bay that I highly appreciated. I can only warmly recommend this centrally located place in Byron Bay.
Acacia is a very charming and easy-going host who obviously loves her current hometown, and her accomodation is a perfect base to explore Byron from-both central and peaceful.Having the use of your own bathroom and balcony is a real plus.
After a month of traveling, I really needed to rejuvenate in a peaceful space for a few days. Lucky me, I ended up staying here for 3 nights and it was exactly what I needed. Acacia is so sweet and welcoming. Although I was quite tired and slept a lot (in the beautiful room with fabulous sunset views!), I spent good time talking with Acacia and playing with her son, who is too cute. I felt totally at home in the kitchen and living room while we all watched a movie, drank tea, and had lovely conversation. I was also able to catch up on my rest as the home was always quiet, clean, and calming. The location couldn't be better--right in town yet away from all the potential noise of the vibrant Byron community. I'm looking so forward to returning to the magical Bay and staying here again is top on my list ! I would recommend this experience to absolutely everyone. Many many thanks ♥
Acacia has a gorgeous place and it's so close to everything. You'll love it! See you next time Acacia xx

The apartment is very nice and quite; having your private room, bathroom and balcony. By walking a couple of minutes you reach "downtown" Byron Bay and the amazing beaches.
The host is really wonderful and informs you with local insights.
I highly recommend this beautiful apartment and would choose it again when coming nack to Byron.
Had such a lovely stay in Acacia's home, felt very welcome in her bright and spacious place. The house is in a very good spot, quiet yet close to shops, cafes and main beach. Thank you so much, Acacia, for your help, hospitality and inspiring company! :)
