Zipcar and Car2Go have cars available close by. There are several bike rental shops and recommended bike lane streets in the neighborhood.
Most guests take a taxi or the MAX train and transfer to bus #77 when coming in form the airport.
Other Things to Note

No late night partying
No smoking of any kind!!!
No illegal drugs
All dishes need to be washed, counter tops cleaned off and trash put in the outside bins before leaving.
Be respectful of my neighbors.
I live in the NW district close to the center of town because it is easily accessible from almost anywhere in Portland. About 20 minutes from the airport. My great grandparents built homes in this neighborhood when it was first being developed and I have always loved this section of town. I moved to my present home in the Nob Hill district about 14 years ago.
I was an interior designer for many years and I also teach watercolor at the local community center.
I can't live without the ocean and the mountains each an hour and a half drive from here. I love the beautiful Columbia Gorge (1/2 hour) and hiking in Forest Park (minutes away).
I enjoy people from all walks of life and love to travel when given the chance.
