Trasteverino house - Perfect accomadation in Rome-
Cute little apartment, perfect for 2-3 people. Good water pressure, well located and cute. Wifi works perfectly. It is a little noisy so bring earplugs as it is in an area with bars.
Luca was helpful and really flexible and nice to let us check in early, which I appreciated! Thank you!
Great location. Attractions were reachable by foot within 30 minutes. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend Osteria cacio e pepe right next door.
Petra, Lucia's assistant was very helpful when responding to queries. We elected to get the pick up service as we arrived late into Rome and found this very easy. The map of Rome was also a nice touch.
Apartment is a little on the small side but being in a popular area this is expected. We were a party of four and managed however wouldn't recommend this apartment for four grown men.
The main drawback was the noise. Even on a Wednesday night, revellers were out until 2-3am. Definitely not for uneasy sleepers. There are also not many condiments available so purchase your own if you want to cook.
I must admit I have mixed feelings about my experience.
I really appreciated :
- the flat itself is nice and handy. Even if the flat looks bigger on pictures than in reality
- very nice and efficient check in
- wifi working perfectly
- very reactive owner if any request
The main drawback is the noise. Don't expect to sleep without earplugs. Well in my case:) From 10 to 5 pm, it's constant noise from people down in the street. It's a very animated and popular area.
I think that could be solved with the installation of a double window. It seems to me to be the next priority to make the experienced really good and to account for a rather high price :120 euros per night.
Last but not least, when you stay in a flat during 3 days, you want to find basic products such as salt, sugar, olive oil or coffee.....
Kortom: volgende keer weer daar!
Luca was a wonderful host. We had a change of plans and needed to check in as soon as possible, and she was very accommodating. She even gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome present. The apartment is in a fabulous location, right in the heart of Trastevere. My only complaint was that the air conditioner was broken, so the apartment was extremely warm.
