The Blue House was wonderful! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is also very well decorated - exactly what I would want if I owned a farmhouse. We enjoyed the yard and grill. It's a great getaway from the city! We would love to come back if we are ever in the area.

Isabel's home was full of charm, and immaculately clean. The backyard, and the views, are spectacular. We loved playing with our baby in the meadow, hanging out in the cozy living room on a rainy day, grilling in the backyard, and hanging out by the firepit at night. It was so peaceful and a great getaway from city life. We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful location. Very quiet and cozy. House was nicely decorated with a great choice of books and magazines. Kitchen was well equipped. Isabel was great to deal with. She made sure the drive was cleared of snow before our arrival.

Wonderful, clean, modern house in a semi-remote location. Perfect weekend getaway, great communication, and amenities are as mentioned (they do have a wonderful collection of movies on VHS that we found entertaining!)

The Blue House is an excellent combination of "someone lives here," so basic condiments and spices available, and "they knew I was coming," so plenty of closet and drawer space and no clutter. The grounds hold many lovely surprises, and the neighbors came by to say hello and welcome us with freshly picked blueberries and freshly laid eggs (this really happened, and it was really nice). A peaceful, inviting setting, and a clean, well-equipped house.

We had a wonderful experience at the Blue House! It was just as described and the pictures that were posted were very accurate. Isabel was very communicative and prompt with her responses. The house was much larger than we expected. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and spacious, even the smaller of the three. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The living room is very comfortable. The yard and setting is gorgeous. The living room, sitting room and dining room are cozy and a delight to be in. The decor is simple, but very well done and tasteful. It made me want to go home and feng shui (spelling?) my house. The area of the country that the house is located in is truly spectacular. My husband and I remarked as we were driving from place to place that it was like the American version of Tuscany...beautiful vistas everywhere you look. The location is not for those who want any hustle and bustle, it is truly a country escape of the best kind. We were there for a wedding and it ended up being a perfect weekend in a gorgeous, restful part of the world.
