  • I felt like we were staying at a friend's flat rather than a hotel. It is conveniently located to the train and the Navigli area for restaurants , bars , and gelato. We took full advantage of the breakfast Anna provided but there is a small grocer directly opposite and a bakery down the block. If you prefer a sterile, predictable hotel experience, this probably isn't the place for you.

  • La casa e' una "chicca, una bomboniera", ed è situata in una zona favolosa. Se dovessi tornare a Milano chiederei nuovamente ad Anna di ospitarmi.

  • This was my first time in Italy, and staying at Anna's flat was one of the better decisions I made - to the extent that of all locations I actually chose to propose to my girlfriend in the apartment balcony!!!

The apartment is great for 5 main reasons:
    1. Location - Navigli is one of the most vibrant areas in town - great bars, restaurants and general vibe so you get a really good sense of the city pulse.
    2. Quiteness - the apartment is central, but located far enough from the street so that it's noise-proof.
    3. Interior - the apartment is very clean and well-equipped, totally as described in the ad.
    4. Vicinity to metro and supermarket - it's literally two steps away from both, which is very useful.
    5. Anna - such a wonderful host who made sure we were all set and even provided handouts regarding places to visit, things to see, restaurants etc.

All in all - my girlfriend and I had a great experience, highly recommended.

  • Anna is a wonderful person with an open heart to her guests. Neither 5* hotel with client service executives can provide you better attitude.

Besides mentioned in comments below I'd like to admit it is a true pleasure to stay at a place that brings you some cultural enrichment. The flat is art decorated with paintings, stores a number of old books and carefully keeps several creative gifts, unobtrusively representing guests' mentality of different kind.
And the turtle glove puppet will stays in my kid's heart forever:)

As far as one's comfort is concerned I'd score perfect heating in winter, that is quite a remarkable exception in private property for rent in Italy.

I'm not sure if one can find a better place to experience Milan aura.

  • I am very happy i chose Anna's place. It is a large apartment with plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bathroom had a nice shower with lots of hot water and pressure.
It is also very quite. Slept well.
