  • Jerry and Aida, have a lovely place in a beautiful part of Eugene. Their a great couple with lots of good local knowledge and very accommodating. We had a whole floor to ourselves which was amazing and Jerry set up a nice breakfast for us with great coffee. I would definitely stay again if I am ever in Eugene. Highly recommended.

  • Jerry and Aida's hospitality and home were far beyond our expectations. They were exceptional hosts. Our every need was met. We were there to visit our grandson during his spring break and they accommodated us with an additional bedroom so he could stay with us in their home. The morning breakfast was perfect and when our grandson was with us, they provided him breakfast as well. The entire house and our rooms were very clean and the bathroom had toiletries for us to use. Use of washer and dryer made it very handy not to accumulate dirty laundry in our luggage. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Jerry and Aida for looking out for us. We will return!

  • I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this lovely suite in the home of Jerry and Aida. They were very communicative, polite, friendly, and flexible. The photos precisely represent the property. I slept soundly through the night. Their home is nestled in a forested area of South Eugene and it is very serene. I was considering staying an additional night and though they had already reserved their suite for another couple, we happy to make accommodations for me at a lesser cost. Ultimately, I stayed just the one night. They provided breakfast and coffee in the morning!!! So so so generous and kind! A total bonus in my books. They made me feel welcome and invited me to visit any time. Thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth! Blessings to you!

  • My boyfriend and I were staying over Eugene only for one day since we were heading to Portland for my academic conference. Jerry and Aida's place was amazing that we actually even considered extending our stay. Though we couldn't do it due to my fixed schedule but we would definitely stay Jerry and Aida's place whenever we visit Eugene. This place is a gem! The entire lower floor was allowed to us, which was very comfortable and spacious. We really felt like we were visiting our family. Thanks to this warm space, we were able to take a full rest after 13-hour driving from CA. In addition, the breakfast was very healthy and fulfilling! Jerry and Aida were very accommodating and so much fun to converse with. I am glad that we were able to meet them. Jerry and Aida: Thank you so much for great hospitality and your kindness. Take care and we will definitely recommend your place to others!

  • We sent them an email just hours before we were looking to stay. Immediate response and acceptance :)! We had a lovely time. Jerry's advice in the area was fabulous and Aida's banana bread was outstanding!

  • The Henderson's keep a very tidy and clean home. The home is located very close to most anything you need and is located in a quiet neighborhood.

Jerry and Aida are hospitable and gracious providing you with whatever support you need. If you enjoy privacy, rest assured they will respect your space.

Your Suite is located on the lower level of their home and you will occupy that entire space alone during your stay which is quite comfortable.

Their breakfast options are healthy and lovely if you have the time to partake.

What I enjoyed most is the home is impeccably clean with a comfortable bed and nice linen. It is truly a home away from home and I would highly recommend staying here.

Thank you so much for hosting me. Aloha! Eyvonne

Airbnb hosts since 2010, there's nothing we enjoy more than welcoming our many new friends and returning guests into our home. A native Oregonian, Jerry has lived and worked in Eugene ever since moving from Portland to attend college. Junaida is from the Philippines where her family still lives and she maintains a home. Having worked for years in elder care, Junaida relaxes most often in her kitchen where she loves to cook and bake. Now a retired public school educator, Jerry stays active as a community volunteer, including a job as a volunteer scuba diver at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. We love returning 'home' to the Philippines to visit family (and scuba dive) as well exploring other tropical sites around the globe. During our travels, we've stayed in airbnb properties from San Francisco to New York, Saskatoon to Vancouver, and Hong Kong to Manila. Our travel adventures are generally moderately budgeted so we can spend our resources playing and meeting people. This is why we appreciate airbnb. It's important to us to be thoughtful & conscientious guests when we travel and we attempt to be the same kind of hosts.
