The large green directly in front of the patio provides a great play area for children, naturally under your supervision. A picnic table on the patio ensures eating al fresco on warm sunny days adds to your holiday atmosphere.
The sea is an important feature in Malahide's popularity and has had a big impact with tourism in the town. The coastal walks and Velvet Strand stretch as far as the eye can see and are popular all year round with swimmers and for water sports such as wind surfing and canoeing. The landscape and activities available make Malahide a favourite destination for visiting boats from Ireland and overseas.
There is a market on Saturdays, and the best restaurants and pubs are found here. Our clients love it as you have all the convenience of the City at hand but without the noise, hustle and bustle. At the end of a day's sightseeing you can come home to a tranquil, relaxing and warm environment and enjoy excellent food at one of Malahide's great restaurants or if you prefer, get a takeaway or a delicious home-made delicatessen meal.Or just walk across the road to one of the pubs and enjoy some brilliant pub food and music sessions (Monday nights at the Island View Hotel are particularly good for traditional Irish music enthusiasts).

TRANSPORT: Public transport: The train station and bus stop are 5 mins walk from the apartment providing easy access to Dublin City Centre (by train 20 mins, or bus n. 32 or 42) and Dublin Airport (bus n. 102). If getting the n.102 bus from the airport ask the driver to let you off at Malahide Church bus stop.
Private transport: We are close to Dublin Airport where car hire or taxis are available (10-15 mins). Easy access from motorways M1 and M50. Taxis are also readily available in our village.
FREE off-road parking space is provided in the courtyard.
PRICES: €550 per week (minimum stay), or €1700 per month for 1 month, €1600 per month for 2 months.

Wonderful!!!! The apartment was everything we could have asked for: clean, big bathroom, stocked kitchen and the LOCATION. Patio looked out over the bay and a large family park. Lots of restaurants, bars, grocer and even a casino within a block. But it was so quiet at night. Malahide is a 20 minute train ride to Dublin and easy access to airport and motorways. Try Coastal Cafe for breakfast and Scotch Egg Cafe for dinner. I would recommend this apartment for anyone. Thanks to Sheelagh for her helpful tips and warm welcome. Hope to come back some time.
