Description

Treat yourself to a wonderful bed & breakfast experience. Nestled among the fir trees in South Eugene, close to the UO campus & downtown, your suite includes a spacious living area, queen bedroom, full bath & beautiful outdoor decks.

Attending an event at the University of Oregon or downtown Eugene? UO campus is only 5 minutes away. (15 min by bike).

You'll enjoy the privacy of your own bedroom, bath, family-room combination. Your suite occupies the entire lower level of our home.

Only steps away from Eugene's hiking, biking & running trails, a short walk to city bus stops, transportation & recreation are as easy as it gets. Great day-hiking awaits only minutes away at Spencer Butte, the Ridgeline Trail, or Mt. Piscah.

You can rely on a good night's rest on a Serta Superior queen bed and a private bathroom supplied with plush towels and always kept spotlessly clean & sanitary.

MULTIPLE-DAY guests have full use of the kitchen/breakfast bar/dining room and are welcome to dine or lounge on the large outdoor deck(s).

High speed Wi-fi and a large screen TV w/Comcast cable is also provided.

Our accommodations are best suited for 1 or 2 guests.

An extra bedroom at the foot of the stairway has recently become occupied by our 20 yr. old daughter who moved here to from the Philippines to attend college. She shares all facilities with us upstairs so it's unlikely you'll see or hear her during your stay.

In addition to the private suite, MULTIPLE-DAY guests are welcome to use kitchen & dining facilities.

Covered-off-street parking is provided in your own carport.

Laundry facilities are available on request for a small fee ($3/load) to cover utility costs.

We generally visit with our guests over a continental breakfast in the morning. Any additional contact is left to your discretion as we value your privacy above all.

Our neighborhood will have you feeling like you've entered a western Oregon forest. Unique homes sit on large wooded lots, providing the perfect setting for our outdoor decks in parklike surroundings. Everything else Eugene has to offer is just a short drive, a fun bike-ride, or a leisurely walk away.

Eugene is an easy place to navigate, with quick access to the city bus, dedicated bike paths & running trails just minutes from our door.

Planning an event and need a beautiful space to host your guests? Our large outdoor deck(s) nestled among the mature rhododendrons and giant fir trees might be just the right place.

Eugene, Oregon, United States · Joined in April 2010

Airbnb hosts since 2010, there's nothing we enjoy more than welcoming our many new friends and returning guests into our home.

A native Oregonian, Jerry has lived and worked in Eugene ever since moving from Portland to attend college. Junaida is from the Philippines where her family still lives and she maintains a home. Having worked for years in elder care, Junaida relaxes most often in her kitchen where she loves to cook and bake. Now a retired public school educator, Jerry stays active as a community volunteer, including a job as a volunteer scuba diver at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

We love returning 'home' to the Philippines to visit family (and scuba dive) as well exploring other tropical sites around the globe. During our travels, we've stayed in airbnb properties from San Francisco to New York, Saskatoon to Vancouver, and Hong Kong to Manila.

Our travel adventures are generally moderately budgeted so we can spend our resources playing and meeting people. This is why we appreciate airbnb. It's important to us to be thoughtful & conscientious guests when we travel and we attempt to be the same kind of hosts.
