Esplanade Ridge is a historic district stretching from Treme to City Park. The area is mostly quiet and residential, except of course on Super Sundays and other important times when second lines flow down our street and Mardi Gras Indians show off new suits under I-10 on Claiborne Avenue.
We are located almost exactly in-between the French Quarter and City Park. According to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps we are .7 miles from the French Quarter, which is about a 15-20 minute walk down Oak tree-lined Esplanade Avenue.
The neighborhood and this apartment are relaxed environments to come home to after a long day touristing or night out.
We recommend taking advantage of our bikes or enjoying the beautiful scenery on your two feet, but we also have a list of taxi recommendations and you can catch a bus to the French Quarter one block from the apartment. Uber also operates in New Orleans.
