About This Listing
Beautiful, modern, fully equipped downtown studio apartment. Two terraces. Expansive city views. Quiet. 1-2 min walk to market, bakery, fruit and vegetable, wine stores. Located in flat part of Guanajuato, ~10 min to Jardín de la Unión. No stairs!!!
This studio apartment is located in a house on one of the oldest alleys in the city. You won't find a more beautiful apt in Guanajuato. Excellent location on the edge of downtown- on a quiet and peaceful alley.
The living area is furnished with high quality minimalist furniture: an upholstered chair and loveseat, small coffee tables, as well as a generous sized dining table with two chairs. Plenty of closet space. A separate sleeping space with a matrimonial bed is located behind a half-height wall. Full kitchen, including stove with oven, and polished concrete counters inlaid with glass and stones, and a breakfast bar. The bathroom is spacious and bright. The apt is approximately 400 sq ft / 40m2, a perfect size for 1 or 2 people.
Guests have access to a second floor terrace just outside the apt, and a 100m2 roof terrace with 360 degree views of the city and mountains. The view from the second floor terrace is beautiful, while the view from the roof terrace is spectacular. The apt is located on a little hill set in the center of the city, which allows for the great views.
The apt is on the edge of downtown, next to the Jardín Embajadoras, a 2 minute walk to one of the two public markets in Guanajuato, and an easy ~10 minute walk to the Jardín de la Unión, the center of Guanajuato cultural life (restaurants, bars, music). Since the apt is not on the slope of one of the mountains rising around the city center, it is about as flat as Guanajuato can be. The location is easily accessible by car, bus or taxi. Some street parking is available.
Rental fee includes weekly cleaning service. Guests have access to a washer and dryer at no extra charge.
If you need transportation to or from the airport (or anywhere else), or a tour guide, we can recommend an excellent person.
Hosts are a US/Mexican couple, fluent in Spanish and English.
Lavadora y secadora. Agua purificada.
Interaction with Guests
Be considerate of the other occupants of house. Treat apt and furnishings with care.
View of kitchen and dining area, and part of closet space. Window in kitchen area looks on Embajadoras Garden.
Stewarts apartment is absolutely perfect!! Very clean & has everything you need. A really easy 10 minute walk into the centre of town. We really enjoyed our time here & absolutely loved the rooftop terrace to enjoy a wine at sunset every night. The view is stunning. Stewart was extremely helpful when we first arrived & also emailed me a couple of times during our stay to offer recommendations on restaurants etc which was extremely helpful. The apartment is very private however & Stewart leaves you to your own devices. Would highly recommend for your visit to Guanajuato we will definitely be back!
Stewart was a great host and the studio was perfect. It happened to be less than a 10min walk to my spanish classes at Adelita which was a huge plus. The view from the terrace is fantastic. It wad nice having access to a washer and dryer. The place is a gem!
The Stweart's studio is exactly as the pictures: so nice! Very modern place and at the same time cozy!
We didn't meet Stewart, but he was available by message and his phone all time.
The studio is very near to the downtown, just a few minutes on foot.
Everything was nice and the city is awesome!
