Enjoy staying in an immaculate studio apartment in lovely downtown Half Moon Bay. The apartment is part of an original coastal craftsman home built in 1902 with its own private entrance. The space has high 9ft ceilings, gorgeous hard wood floors, one large bedroom, a full (but small) bathroom, and a full kitchen. Only one block off historic Main Street, shopping, dining, and entertainment are just minutes away. Have a vacation from your car! Anything you'll need is in easy walking distance: Cunha's country store, It's Italia restaurant, Sushi Main Street and San Benito House are all only one block away. HMB Bike Works is two blocks down the street and they rent bicycles. The beach is only .8 miles away and the paved coastal trail is fun and easy to access. We have free high speed internet and are glad to answer any questions about where to go and what to do while staying in town.

There is no shared space between the main house and the apartment. You have your own kitchen and bathroom and private enterance. There is free wifi as well as a sound dock for your iPhone or iPod. Free parking is available right in front of the house.
Most of our guests, we never meet in person. We do enjoy meeting our guests however and love to give tips on great places to dine as well as places to go during your stay in Half Moon Bay.
Historic downtown Half Moon Bay is full of small coastal town charm. There is a wonderful selection of restaurants, bookstores, gift shops, and more that is unique to Half Moon Bay. We are located right in the middle of downtown but it never feels noisy or crowded, except maybe during Pumpkin Festival in October.

Very quaint studio, very close to downtown Half Moon Bay. I enjoyed the snack Paul and Meg left.. ;-)))
Paul and Meg made the visit smooth and enjoyable.. Thank you.. Highly recommended..
Paul was great - super considerate and helpful. He even left a fresh loaf of bread and some fresh fruit for us! His space is cozy and comfortable, totally adequate for a couple's getaway. Thanks!
If you wish to be in the heart of Half Moon Bay, Paul and his family are wonderful hosts. You can walk anywhere in town to enjoy bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants and more. Perfect spot for a couple.
Paul was a great host - friendly and helpful - and his location in Half Moon Bay fabulous. I greatly appreciated Paul's little touches (e.g. yummy home baked cookies and fresh cut flowers) and the fact that he was happy to allow me to check out later than usual. Thanks, Paul!
Everything was as described. A great change of pace to my usual hotel stay. Paul was very responsive, the space was clean, the location great. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish it was for longer and not work related. I would definitely stay here again
Great studio in the lovely old town of Half Moon Bay and close to the most picturesque stretch of its coastline. Bed is very comfy and the kitchen is spacious. Meg and Paul are particularly helpful and flexible with arrival and check out times due to our flight itineary. Thanks also for the beautiful fresh flowers and the tasty cookies in our room. Perfect!
Paul's apartment was all that we hoped: clean, cosy, and welcoming (with a plate of homemade cookies, which we devoured in seconds!). It's perfectly located smack in the middle of downtown Half Moon Bay, and Paul was kind enough to provide restaurant/activity recommendations. You can walk to the beach from the apartment, and parking was directly in front. Easy and lovely!
Basic place but nice and comfy. Good bed, shower, close to the amazing HMB trails. We never really talked to Paul but knew he was there if we needed anything. The cookies were awesome :)
We spent a wonderful Christmas in Paul´s apartment.
Paul was very friendly and helped us out with extra crockery for our Christmas dinner. It couldn´t have been any better.
Fantastic place to stay; cozy place to curl up with a book during a winter night after a day of walking around HMB and watching sunset at the beach. Paul gave great recommendations for activities and dining. Place was immaculately kept and had a full kitchen, with a general store not more than a block away. Highly recommended.
