Bondi Beach Attic

Apartment - Private room · Hastings Parade, North Bondi, Bondi Beach , NSW 2026, Australia

Bondi Beach lifestyle at its best

The Space

Come stay in Bondi Beach in your very own private attic conversion. With views over Bondi Beach and the city of Sydney it is 34 square metres with your own living room, bathroom, bedroom and balcony.

Just 2 years young, so all is fresh and new, light and airy. Lots of white and lots of wood. The shared kitchen is downstairs as well as the dining area.

The apartment is only 2 minutes to Bondi Beach perfect for an early morning swim. Buses to Bondi Junction, The City and Watsons Bay come every 5 minutes.

The North Bondi Golf Course is directly opposite (public course) and you can also walk to iconic Icebergs Club, pool or restaurant. If you want spectacular views of the sunrise you can also walk to Ben Buckler lookout.

Hastings Parade is right at the North Bondi shopping centre, which offers a Liquor Store, a Laundry, a Newsagent, Beauty parlour, cafes, fast food chicken shop, pizzeria, a Thai restaurant and take away, a fish restaurant and take away and the very trendy "The Hill Eatery"(excellent food).
The local Grocery store is a combined green grocer, delicatessen and general store.

The Neighborhood

Bondi Beach is a busy place, but we are at the north end and there is still some village atmosphere left with locals frequenting the cafes and restaurants. The local shop is run by a Greek family with parents, children and cousins running it in harmony. We have a local chemist who knows all his customers by name. The fish restaurant makes the best fish&chips and the newsagent sells a variety of bus ticket options depending on your requirements.

Getting around

Getting around is easy from North Bondi. The buses are at the doorstep and go directly to Bondi Junction or to Watsons Bay from where you can take a ferry to Circular Quay. In Bondi Junction you can either take buses to the city or the train - all very easy. The buses and trains run every 5 minutes. In 20years of living there I have never once had to look at a timetable. The buses just keep coming.

  • Irmgard was a helpful and gracious host and offered clean and very comfortable rooms close enough to Bondi activities but far enough away to offer a little serenity. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

  • The location is fantastic. Minutes walk to the beach with amenities close by. Irmgard was a gracious host and quick with returning e-mails. Bus is moments away and can get you to the CBD in 40 minutes. Immaculately clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a great location at Bondi Beach, this is highly recommended. Would stay there again in heartbeat.

  • Irmgard was a very friendly host, extremely accommodating yet respectful of privacy. The location is amazing, gorgeous view of Bondi without being in the middle of all the crazy hecticness of Bondi itself. Great restaurants/cafes round the corner, cute little grocery store literally across the road, as are the buses - it was very convenient.

Irmgard also went above and beyond, even driving me to a direct train to the airport on my final day without me even asking, she really is a fantastic host, I wouldn't hesitate recommending her and would definitely stay there again.

  • Irmgards home was the perfect antidote after a 30+ hour round the world trip and when we return to Australia / Bondi Irmgard will most certainly be our first port of call.

Irmgard was a great host and made us feel very much at ease.

The apartment was immaculate and to have your own balcony area with a view of the beach was sooo nice! The location was ideal being just a few minutes from the beach and local shops and restaurants - however it was also very peaceful too. For us it couldn't have been bettered and we highly recommend.

Thank you for having us Irmgard and we look forward to meeting you again.

Her house looks exactly like the pictures with an even better ocean view!
We'll make sure to book again the next time we'll come to Sydney!

About
I love Bondi, Sydney and the spot where I live. My 32 year old son still lives with me as so many young people in big cities do these days. And who would move if you live only 2 minutes from the beach... I came to Australia 37 years ago and still go home at least once a year to do a bit of exploring, which I missed out on because I left when I was only 20. I love to relax with a good movie or book when I get home from a stressful 9-5 job in the city. But no complaints - I work in the travel industry and "if I can't go there myself, at least I can talk about it" with other travel minded people. Clean, tidy and cozy is my motto for creating a welcoming atmosphere and a comfortable stay. welcome to Bondi!!
