We offer a truly unique experience. We are a different type of bed and breakfast. Whether you are in the main house, pool house or RV everyone has breakfast together, family style. I talk more about that after I explain all the sleep arrangements available. Also keep in mind that most people enjoy cooking either on the Ducane grill or in the main kitchen that has every possible spice you can image. I am going to explain the whole house to you, so you understand this incredible ranch. First there is the main house. In the main house there are 2 bedrooms that are available, The Everglades Room and The Sunflower Room, both with full beds, and a shared bathroom. Then there is a pool house right behind the main house separated by the pool, of course. The pool house is a complete home. It has 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds, a full size comfy futon, a small kitchen, a bathroom and an open area, with all sliders open to the pool. Behind the pool house is Vintage Row. We have 4 Vintage aircraft inspired trailers. The trailers date from (phone number hidden). Let’s go through them 1 at a time. Keep in mind that these are Vintage meaning that there are lots of original parts some over 50 years old. 1. 1969 Airstream International. This mini home has an Italian Designer Futon that turns into a full bed, 2 twin beds, a bathroom, and an outside shower. 2. 1955 Airstream. This one is very unique, has a custom made King-ish size bed that takes up all the back of the trailer, front toilet, custom full-ish bed, and an outdoor shower. 3. 1970 Avion, offers, full kitchen, 2 twin beds and front dining table that turns into a queen-ish bed, and full bathroom. 4. 1977 this too is a complete unit, full Kitchen, 2 Twins and complete bath. Look at the pictures to understand the layout. We served an incredible breakfast, mostly from our own garden. Farm Fresh Organic Eggs, Papaya, Star fruit, Bananas, Mango, Pineapples, Coconut, Avocado, Tomato’s, Dragon Fruit, Peach, Leeches, Passion Fruit, Jack Fruit and Loquat. That is not complete, but it is seasonal, if it is in season you will be served it by the resident private executive Chef Glen. We are trying to living “off the land”. We raise chicken and rabbits also. You get to explore all the plants. A game of Horseshoes or Croquet is a welcoming challenge. On colder evening a bonfire is a great addition to the peacefulness of our surroundings. We live in paradise and would love to share with you and your family. We would like to welcome you to the good life. To see the different listing look under our picture there is a “my other listings” to see the other areas. We can host 20 people with the different accommodations. Our bedrooms sleep 2.
We are located close to the Everglades National Park, Biscayne National Park, Schnebly Redland's Winery & Brewery, Coral Castle, Fruit & Spice Park, RF Orchids and we are only 24 miles from Key Largo.
Redland, sometimes pluralized The Redlands, is an agricultural community in metropolitan Miami, Florida, United States, about 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Downtown Miami. Many farms, original clapboard homes of early settlers, u-pick'em fields and coral rock walls dot the landscape. It is named for the red clay that dominates the area, on top of a massive layer of oolite rock. The entire area is nourished with pure water from the Biscayne Aquifer.
Redland originated in anticipation of Henry Flagler's railroad when pioneer homesteaders in the early 1900s developed a way of working the difficult soil, called scarifying or plow-breaking. This revolutionary method of agriculture allowed the land there to develop into the "winter greenery basket of America" and the "garden capital of the world". The center of town was located near Redland Road and Bauer Drive.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It is near the Everglades and Big Cypress Swamp but it is so much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel. Natalie and Glenn raise much of their own fruit and vegetables and serve a breakfast to die for with homemade pancakes, waffles, eggs, avocado, grilled tomatoes and fresh pineapple, bananas, papaya, oranges from their own garden freshly picked. They are very caring hosts and no request is too much trouble for them. On Sunday they threw a big dinner party for Glenn's birthday and all the B"&B guests were also invited. There is a lovely pool and hot tub. In back she has several vintage airstream trailers one can stay in. We stayed in the pool house which was very roomy with 2 BR and a sitting room and kitchen. There are chickens and rabbits on the property. It would be a terrific place for a family with young children. The other guests were from all over the world and very interesting to talk with. In short, I highly recommend this B&B if one is in the Homestead area. Also, Natalie and Glenn recommended a wonderful Cuban restaurant where we had dinner called Marios. It's on route 1 in Homestead. This is a good place for Cuban coffee, bread also.
Very sympactic place with kids, amazing breakfast before to explore everglades
What a wonderful experience staying at Natalie's place. I had only reserved one day but after seeing the pool house and grounds, I asked her immediately to stay again. Wow! The neighborhood is lush farm lands and very large homes and grounds. Her place looked like a tropical paradise.
Her husband Glen was funny and kind. They have all kinds of fruits growing on the grounds and as you can see in the other reviews, they really oudo thenselves with their cooking. I stayed in the 2 bedroom poolhouse but I also saw these darling vintage trailers all decorated. This would be a great place for a large group to stay. With their cooking,a hospitality, and friendlness, it would be a hit. I was sad to leave, honestly. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.
We got so much more than what we expected! The Pool House was fine - it served our needs perfectly, but the connection with Natalie and Glen was spectacular. This couple has amazing energy, open hearts and good will abounding! We were all charmed. Each one of our party of 4. Who knew that Glen is a chef? Or that Natalie would tuck us under her wing? Who knew that they would make our (sumptuous) breakfasts for us? And we NEVER expected to be asked to join the Sunday family dinner! If you choose one of their affordable properties, remember that you are not in a hotel, don't expect white glove cleanliness, but do expect that you can go into the garden, pick tomatoes and bananas, and be charmed by boundless generosity!
This couple is awesome. The property is well located with lots of amenities -- pool, hot tub, sauna/shower and lots of fruit trees and veggies. Pick your own banana! Glenn and Natalie are very helpful and enthusiastic hosts. They provide a wonderful gourmet breakfast. The pool house was meticulously clean and very spacious. We had everything we needed. I hope to stay there again.
It has taken us a while to write this review because it is hard to put into words to describe our stay with Natalie and Glen. From the moment we arrived we felt at home with a genuine warmth. And that continued until we left. Their way of natural living changed us, our daughters now want an array of fruit for breakfast! And we are all more aware of how we live with regards using natural products. The breakfast we were given was amazing. To describe this place as BNB is not enough as we were looked after constantly, from tourism advice to evenings spent around the fire talking, laughing. We met other guests from all around the world. Would we stay their as a family again? Absolutely. When we left, there were many tears and still we are sad not to be there. Congratulations to you both as your hard work and friendliness has created a dream place to stay.
Terrific stay with genuine, old fashioned hospitality.
Our family of six (4 adults, 2 young children) came from Disney where we felt like widgets being processed through corporate algorithms. It was so refreshing to be welcomed to this home for a 3 night stay. We explored the Everglades and the Florida keys then relaxed in the pool and large hot tub at the end of the day. A huge fabulous home cooked breakfast with fresh eggs and tropical fruit from the garden every morning. Great touring advice and recs. Warm, friendly hosts made us feel at home. Best part of our trip!

We had such a good stay at Natalie and Glenn's. They were some of the most welcoming people we ever met in our air bnb experiences. Truly nice people. The poolhouse was great: big and comfortable. Our stay with our 1 year old was a big success!!
We had an amazing time. Natalie and her family were very gracious hosts. The pool house was perfect for our family. They served a yummy breakfast that was fit for a queen. The breakfast alone was worth the price that we paid.I wish we had more time there. We would most definitely go back or possibly stay at their other place in Key Largo. Thanks for a great little getaway. Peace....The Mitchell family
