Welcome to this light-filled cottage in a friendly historic neighborhood, just a short walk from the Healdsburg Plaza. Enjoy coffee or local wine at the private garden picnic table, relax in Adirondack chairs, or gather around the fire pit on cool evenings (weather permitting). Walk to town for wine tasting and dining, bike quiet back roads, hike nearby redwood trails, or take a scenic drive to the Sonoma Coast.

The space
The cottage is a well-appointed, stand-alone unit with a separate gate and path leading to the front door. With its proximity to downtown Healdsburg and Sonoma/Napa Valleys, it's an ideal retreat for visiting wine country. Located in a garden setting 5 blocks from the Healdsburg Plaza in the central, historic district, it is in the backyard of our 2-story, 1880's Victorian farmhouse in a friendly, pedestrian neighborhood. The cottage (500 sq. ft.) sleeps up to four people and offers an open, sunny living area with vaulted ceilings, a bedroom* and large bathroom with a shower facility. The window seat overlooks the cottage garden. (* Note that there is no door between the living room and the bedroom. These two areas are semi-private and separated by a short hallway.)

The setting accommodates visitors who want to relax in a garden setting or dine al fresco. The bedroom has a very comfortable (purchased 12/22) Saatva Classic Luxury queen mattress, which gets rave reviews with high-quality sheets and towels. The living area includes a Scandinavian Design queen sofa sleeper with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. Amenities include filtered and sparkling water, local coffee with a Ninja coffee maker/foamer for specialty coffee drinks, a coffee press (for those who like it simple), and a variety of quality teas and an electric tea kettle. The cottage is perfectly suited for simple food prep as it is equipped with a sink, utensils, dishes, bowls, microwave, toaster oven, and under-counter refrigerator. We can offer an induction stovetop and cookware upon request. We also provide a Roku stick that accesses Prime. There is a JBL Bluetooth speaker provided, and the highest-speed WiFi on the market.

It is very quiet and peaceful at night.
