The pool pump runs every day from 8AM to 6PM. . It is clear if the pool pump is on because you can hear it and you can see the water churning in the pool. There is a pad on the heater to adjust the temperature and turn the heater on and off. If nothing is touched, the heater will not be on and the pool will be whatever temperature it is outside (roughly). If the heat is going to be turned on during the hours or 8AM and 6PM, please go to the control pad on the heater and turn on the heater and adjust the temperature accordingly. Whichever comes first, being done with the pool or 6pm, the heater should be turned OFF at night while you are sleeping. If the heater is not turned off, then at 8 AM the following day, the heater will turn back on and energy will be wasted. Please feel free to swim anytime you want though!
at check out TURN OFF THE POOL HEATER. THERE IS AN ON OFF SWITCH. IT IS BLACK WITH WHITE LINES. inside the wood shed off the patio, have fun !!!!
Craig was very helpful and responsive. We felt welcomed in his space. We enjoyed hanging near the pool and cooking our own meals. The beach is only a 10-minute drive away although parking near the beach is a bit difficult. Highly recommended for a small group and a low-key weekend.
The East Hampton house was exactly as described... very comfortable and charming. The house also has everything we needed to enjoy food we brought in - wine glasses and new Sonos music system.
Close to town and the pool and outdoor shower were a real plus.
House is pleasant and charming, and fits the description. The privacy behind the mature plantings and trees is an underrated feature.
The host was easy to reach and always accommodating. Wonderful experience, highly recommended.
The house was great, in fact it was better than described. Craig was accomodating and very easy to reach. An amazing experience and we will be back!
Craig's house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and feels spacious and full of light and air. We felt very much at home and at peace surrounded by high trees, flowering plants and birds. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable patio with a thick ceiling of wisteria, and the nice details in bedding and decoration. The downtown of East Hampton is a pleasant 15 minute walk and we biked down to beaches nearby. Thanks to Craig for a great weekend and for being a great host!!
The East Hampton 50's Garden Bungalow did not disappoint! We had a fun ladies weekend and chose this place for location and the pictures of the home and actually don't think the pictures do it justice. Craig was great-very flexible and available when needed. He provided a lot of information up front so we just walked in and enjoyed a great weekend in the Hamptons! The location was great- walking distance to great restaurants and close to the shops. The neighborhood was quaint and just the experience we were hoping for.
Terrific spot, well appointed, clean, inviting and true to the photos. Very close proximity to town.
