Our unique space is on the only lake in the middle of Chapel Hill. 5 min drive to downtown or University Mall. 3 min drive to Franklin Street & Whole Foods. Private dock to enjoy drinks & watch the sunset or take a cruise on the lake in a kayak.

The space
The Swiss Room has nice hard wood floors. Queen size bed. Sitting area for relaxing. Flat screen TV and cable. All new luxurious linens. The bathroom is a Jack & Jill bath shared with the Germany room. It comes with a large shower and double sinks and a bench.

Guest access
2 outdoor porches one screened where you can enjoy drinks and relax with a good book and relaxing background music.You will have access to the private dock, 2 Kayaks & Catamaran. Take a stroll to the private park at the end of the road. Enjoy a game of Pool or Foosball in the entertainment area. if you are up for a workout instead of relaxing stop by the workout room with TV, recumbent bike, elliptical and weight equipment. Last but not least take in a movie or watch a football in the movie theater.

Neighborhood highlights

Our neighborhood is very unique in that it is sits on a lake in the middle of Chapel Hill. Our home is lakefront. Private park at the end of our road. Walking distance to the park. Beautiful wooded old trees. Quiet & Serene. Amazing sunsets.

Sherry is from Coastal NC but has lived in Chapel Hill since 1990 and loves it! David is from Connecticut, and came here by way of California. Chapel Hill is a great college town being home to the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Duke University and NC State are just up the road. Having owned Ladies Fitness & Wellness centers for many years and being an entrepreneur, Sherry loves meeting and helping people. My husband ran a B&B in for a short time 1989 and loves to cook. We both love fitness & golf. We have six children between us, with our youngest just starting college this fall. David was an exchange student in Germany in 1980, and last year we returned the honor by hosting our 7th child from Italy. We had our first granddaughter in 2014. We love hosting events in our beautiful lakeside home. As empty nesters now, we would like to share our home by the lake.
