Kathryn made arrangements for her daughter to meet us, and Debbie kept us well informed about timing etc. She also helped us to organise a meal and willingly answered our questions! We had a good night's sleep and a good breakfast to see us on our way. Many thanks.

Traveling with my husband and our mums, we had 4 wonderful nights at Kathryn's. Kathryn was generous and helpful with her communications leading up to our trip and planned to be on holiday for the time we were there. Her daughter, Debbie, was there to greet us, help us settle in and took great care of us for our entire stay. She was delightful and gave us some wonderful tips about Galway and we all enjoyed our conversations at breakfast. Home was beautiful and well cared for and in a lovely part of Salthill. We were all very comfortable and wouldn't hesitate to return. thank you!

Kathryn was a lovely hostess. She graciously picked us up from the bus station and returned us as well making a tour of Salthill and Galway sharing her knowledge of the area. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the area, both her village and Galway. Breakfast was good too and allowed us some time to better get to know Kathryn. The room was comfy and just as pictured. We especially enjoyed the books on her shelves! It was a lovely time but too short. We hope to return another time and stay with her again!

Kathryn was very responsive and was available for any communication or need we had. Her home is quiet and immaculate and provided great coffee, teas and breakfast. She gave us terrific suggestions for additional activities and restaurants. As a person, you could not ask for a more pleasant host! Salthill is a great location. We enjoyed every moment of our visit with Kathyrn.

Katherine was easy to communicate with - her daughter was the actual point of contact at the home and was host to us for our time there - she was great! Made us delicious food, was extremely accommodating of our schedules, and gave many great tips for local activities and grub. It is a good location just outside of Galway - a car would definitely be the ideal transportation getting to this spot. The rooms were on the smaller side but beautifully decorated and clean. Thanks for making our stay an enjoyable one!

Kathryn User ProfileKathryn is a superhost.

Hi my name is Kathryn! I am a mature student at my local University. I love to walk our beautiful promenade, hike in connemara, cycle around the city and attend my local gym. Galway is the cultural capital of Ireland and I am an enthusiastic follower of the theatre, the wonderful music scene and all that the arts have to offer. In my down time I cook, bake and spend enjoyable hours in my garden. I love to meet new and interesting people. My home is warm, welcoming and open to you. I look forward to meeting you, hearing about your life and culture...please come and visit and share your experiences with us!
