Kathryn was a wonderful host. She communicated with us prior to our arrival and was very flexible when we were uncertain (until the day of) of our arrival time. She and her sweet dog greeted us warmly when we arrived and had a wonderful selection of brochures and maps and some personal tips to help us as we made plans for our time in Ireland. In fact, due to her excellent advice, my sister and I had a wonderful time and visited many areas we may have missed if we hadn't met with Kathryn. Her home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, in a fantastic location, and had a private parking spot for our rental car. The room was very comfortable, we had our own bathroom, and felt as though we could come and go as we pleased. Breakfast every morning was incredible - coffee, tea, homemade scones, eggs, bacon and a selection of cheeses. We felt like we were visiting family and being well pampered. I would stay there again.
Kathryn is amazing and really kind! Me, my fiancè and our friend stayed at her place for one night. The house is beautiful, as photos shown and the neighborhood is quite and elegance. The room is really cozy and clean and the breakfast very good! The house is located only 10 mins walked from the Ocean walkaway and 20 mins from the city center. Super recommended! Thanks :)
Rebecca was a great hostess. We were sorry to have missed Kathryn.
Felt safe in the neighborhood and did a fair amount of walking in the area. We felt welcomed into the home.
Kathryn was a pleasant and helpful hostess. The house is very comfortable, nicely furnished, extremely clean - and on an attractive, quiet road.
I was attending a wedding in Salthill so Kathryn late me check in early so I could get changed, she even drove me to the church! Now that is service the house and room I was given was amazing, beautifully appointed & clean, I would definitely recommend Kathryn's to stay in if you're looking for Irish hospitality and the location is perfect for the beach and to get into the city by bus or even a pleasant walk.
Lovely bedroom and very friendly hostess. House is walking distance to Salthill's shops, restaurants and seafront promenade but too far to walk to town so google bus timetables!
