This is a nice 3 room apartment in the centre of Frederiksberg. It's only 100 meters from the old romantic garden, Frederiksberg Haven, and next to the metrostation Fasanvej(6 minuts to the city center). The apartment is on the fourth floor, it has two bedroom - one for two persons and one for one person - a good kitchen, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a nice, cosy livingroom. Apart from this, the apartment has an extraordinary view over rooftops, trees and sunsets everyday, it has a little balcony, and is modernly and conveniently furnished.
Frederiksberg is the old and bourgeoisie part of Copenhagen. It is also one of the most green areas of Copenhagen - a tree on almos every corner. The area is quit at night, but if you feel like doing something in the evening the apartment is just 10 minuts on bicycle from the ethnic and young quarter Nørrebro and the urban, young and artistic Vesterbro. The city center is just 6 minuts in the subway.
You can take a walk through the old romantic park, and on Gl. Kongevej you can shop, eat nice and drink coffee. If you choose to come, we can always recommend you many nice places.
Well there is only one rule, Leave the place as you found it.
i loved staying at morten's place...
it's well located, near from the metro that goes directly to the town center or the airport...the room is luminous and with a nice view....
morten is very sweet, and he has a marvellous collection of books ;)
it felt like home !
It is located in the perfect place, where is very closed to the metro station, where is right next to the beautiful garden, and where you can walk to the Copenhagen city if you are a lover of sightseeing walking. He, Morten, is a good and sweet Danish person. What more I can say. I had a very good time and had a good rest after my daily adventure in Denmark. :)
I have been staying in the place for a bit over two months now and am very happy I found this accommodation. The location is ideal, the flat very sweet and the room nice and cozy. The host, Morten, is an absolutely wonderful person, open minded, relaxed and responsible at the same time. His care of guests is adorable and he is also a great artist. I can recommend renting this place to everybody who needs a lovely place to stay in Copenhagen.
All the good things in the reviews, they are true. I spent 3 days at Morton's place, exploring Vesterbro and the heart of CPH via bus and Metro. Bike works great as well.
There's a beautiful Renaissance garden next door for when you need a respite from city life.
As for the host, Morton is one of those rare people where just meeting and interacting with him is a gift. I found him warm, open, intelligent, creative, engaging. Kind. Generous with great advice on where to eat and what to do. Easy to be around. The apartment is great on its own, but Morton made the whole experience special.
This apartment has a great location--next door to Copenhagen Business School, the Fredericksberg Park, and a few minutes walk to the Metro. Apartment is spacious, sleeps about 5, and has nice views. Though there's a full kitchen, we didn't use it except to put some things in the fridge. Morten was there to meet us when we arrived. He has wifi and a tv with English channels. Just an FYI--taking a shower means climbing into a high sided claw foot tub. It wasn't a problem for us at all but might be for some.
Perfect stay- perfect host. First time- I love Copenhagen now, lucky you if you plan a trip at Morten's!!
Morten is a fun, interesting, non-fussy (but tidy) host - luckily I had time for some nice chats with him at least. The apartment is very nice, on top floor. The guestroom is relatively quiet and the bed is comfortable. Location is perfect, next to a big beautiful park. Central areas easily reachable by Metro or bike lanes - I could even borrow his rusty trusty old bike for my stay, and there are several bike shops nearby if you want to rent a more luxurious one.
The only negative was the super weak shower, but hey, it gets the job done.
My Name is Morten Eggert. I'm 34 years old, and work as a dancer at the Royal Danish Ballet. Besides dancing I give lectures on theater and art. My private passion is music, gardens and tango. Besides the city i love spending time at the country side, where I have a little house. I love to host and to have new influences, food, wine and storytelling. Everything dances.
